Elisa's Birthday 6/30/05

Jenny's POV

We're at it again another party for another precious girl. It's a beautiful day. My family was already up when I crawled out of bed. They had let me sleep in for once. I make my way downstairs and smile. They are still at breakfast and chatting away.

"Come and sit and eat." My mother encourages and hands me my plate already full.

I sit and join in the chatter. Mary, Elisa, and Frankie sit on my Dad's lap telling him all sorts of things. He nods indulgently at their stories. They appear to have had a bath. It seems between my female friends and family Everything is running smoothly.

After breakfast I'm chased away to rest. I try to take over the children and Duke says he's got it. Duke sees me pout and he lets me come along to play in the pool.

"No over doing it ok." He warns smiling.

So that's where I am when Nikki and Donna show up. Nikki decides to come play. Donna sweetly declines. The water makes me feel good but I tire easily. I rest against the side of the pool and watch them play. Nikki comes up beside me he has Jolene's babies in his arms. I smile.

"You're not over doing are you?" He asks.

"No, I wish everyone would quit worrying I feel fine," I sigh.

"We just care about you." He gives me a quick kiss on the cheek.

"I think I'm done." I giggle. "Do you want me to take the twins to their Mama?" I ask.

"Nah we're still having fun." He grins and goes back to play.

I climb out of the pool. I feel like a whale out of water already. I'm only 5 months.

Once I shower and make myself presentable again. I head for my office. I needed to make some business calls. After that no more outside interruptions.

I open my office door. Donna is there sitting very much relaxed, In my chair.

"What are you doing in my office." I hiss.

"I just want to talk." She grins smugly.

"About what?" I ask agitated.

"Well I've come into some really interesting entertainment. It was called Jenny And Bliss at play." She laughs.

I rush to my desk and pop open the secret drawer. The tape is missing and so is my 87-88 diary.

"I want them back Donna. Where are they." I growl.

"Nope." She laughs. The diary was interesting reading. You fell so hard for him and he didn't even mention you in his. He talked of so many other women, but not you" She giggles coldly.
"I'm figuring the tape I have is the only copy. So this is what's gonna happen. You are going to leave my husband alone. No more overnight stays. If I even think you've fucked him I'm sending a copy of your porn to all the right people." With that said She gets up and leaves me to stew.

I sink into a chair. She has me by my none existent balls. I had meant to destroy it when Crystal had recently brought it to me. She wanted to let me know she wasn't pissed about me not signing another contract. It had been a keepsake for her. I just wanted it to disappear. I can't have my father finding out. I've worked to hard on GoodWitch to fuck it up now. I can't believe she read my diary. I poured out my young heart into it when I fell for Nikki. She now knows about Angelicus. I cry I don't know what to do.

Nikki's POV

The girls are adorable. After swimming. They had gone to their costume trunk and are dressed as fairies again, but this time Elisa wears the crown. Thank God Jenny has apparently hid her GoodWitch wand better this time. Jenny has come out of her office she seems very subdued. I try to make my way to her but my wife catches me. She says Elisa specifically asked for my help into her birthday chair. Whatever is bothering Jenny will have to wait. I help Elisa into her princess seat and the party begins. I think the singing was better this time. Whatever was bothering Jenny she seems to be over as she watches Elisa blow out her candles. The Princess is over the moon when she gets the first piece of cake.

"I'm gonna have to go to gym tomorrow after eating all this cake." Donna quips.

Donna is in a good humor. Jenny's family has been very nice to her. They are a very tolerant bunch. They know how to keep the peace. I've seen Duke flirt with her lightly. She had flirted back trying to make me jealous. I have to give him his do. He's a charmer and still has his military build but it's very clear he's very in love with his wife. She didn't stand a chance. Loyalty seems to be bred into each member of this family.

Elisa graciously excepts her gifts with a thank you for each one. I'm proud of all my girls with Jenny's guidance they are all going to be quite the ladies.

After all is said and done the kids play for another hour before Donna wants to leave. She gathers the kids to leave even though she had agreed they could stay the night again earlier. I'm confused by Jenny's meek acceptance. I had been ready to side with the kids and her. No argument or sly remark from Jenny just silence. Donna seems to smug as we say our goodbyes. Did I miss something.
