Nikki's POV

I get out of my jeep and walk up to Jenny's door. There seems to be a very heated discussion going on inside. So I just wander in so I don't disturb the disagreement. I smirk there is apparently an issue between manager and managee. Oh damn strife in paradise I chuckle. This ought to be fun to watch. I grab some coffee and a homemade cookie and sit to enjoy the show.

"No no no." Jenny stomps.

"Be reasonable Jenny this will be good for your book sales" he says sounding agitated.

"I can't leave for two months." She says crossing her arms over her chest. "I'm a single mother with four children."

"We could ask your mother to come to stay and hire a nanny to help her out." He suggests.

Oops he uttered the n word nanny. This is getting good. I laugh.

"What did you say?" She glares.

"Easy Jenny it would only be temporary your mother would be here too." He explains quickly.

"I don't want to." She growls.

Allen finally notices me.

"What the hell." He says and glares. I just smile. "Nikki since you're here can you help me out?"

"With what?" I ask not sure I want take his side.

"Convincing her to do a book signing tour. It would be good business." He says.

I take a drink of coffee thinking on it.

"Go on." I shrug.

"It would be during the first part of The Motley tour. After San Juan, Puerto Rico of course. She would be visiting some of the same cities, so I can handle both at the same time." He pauses.

Jenny sits near me she's not looking happy.

"He's right you know this would be a good career move." I say softly. She looks scared.

"But Nikki I'm not a people person." She whispers.

"Jenny has become somewhat reclusive when it comes to LA standards." Allen comments.

"You can do this Jenny. You won't be alone Allen is good at his job and if you need me I won't be far away." I squeeze her hand. She sits quietly for awhile.

"Ok I'll do it." She sighs.

"I have to make arrangements." Allen says as he hurries out the door with his phone already stuck to his ear.

"I have to call my mom and sister see who can make the trip." She smiles and heads upstairs to her office.

I'm excited for her, but I'm having a few stray and naughty thoughts about what could happen out on the road.

"What's going on Nikki?" Charlie grins as he comes down the stairs.

"Your mother has decided to go on a book signing tour." I answer.

"Mr. Kovac actually talked her into it after the last time." Charlie comments.

"What happened last time?" I ask curious.

"Umm I have homework to do." He squeaks and attempts an escape.

"Sit down Charlie." I order. He sits reluctantly.

"What happened last time?" I ask again.

"Umm well this chick was like you know a fan of Donna and she like..." he stops. "Mom is gonna be mad at me for telling."

"Spit it out kid." I press.

"She yelled at Mom and dumped hot food on her she was breastfeeding Elisa at the time. Mom just came home. She didn't go out much after that." He says and then takes off for his room.

Damn she will definitely have more security this time. I'll talk to Allen about it. God people can be so nuts. I feel so sick she has been dealing with this shit on her own.

"Daaaad." Elisa and Mary yells.

"Yes ladies." I grin my mood lifting.

"Can Frankie comes over before you leave?" Elisa asks. "We wants to have a tea party."

"Please Daddy." Mary says smiling.

"I'll see what I can do." I laugh.

"Daddy Frankie say her Momma make her go to new school." Elisa says looking worried.

"Don't worry she's not changing schools." I answer and hug them both. They take off happy now that their troubles are settled. Mine are just starting I'm afraid tonight's discussion isn't going to be fun.

Jenny's POV

I called my Mom. They are excited to come spend time with the kids. So that's settled now the helpful Nanny this one might take a little bit longer.

I just talked to Allen he has everything taken care or so he says. I'm leaving on February 16 and meeting Allen in Sunrise FL on the 17. I guess it's really happening.

I head downstairs to see the girls happily skipping away.

"What's got them so excited?" I ask with a giggle.

"They are going to have a tea party tomorrow." Nikki chuckles.

"Oh thank you. They have been planning since last week." I tell him gleefully.

"I got to go take care of some details that can't wait." He says softly.

"Ok I'll see you tomorrow then." I can't resist I rush to him and hug him tight. Feeling his arms around me even just for one stolen moment is sweet.
