Song of the Chapter: Taxi Cab by Twenty One Pilots
Gerard's POV
"Anna? Wake up." I say, gently shaking her.
"Hmm?"
"We're going home."
"Is dad here?" She says rubbing her eyes.
"No I'm sorry, Sarah is here though."
"Ok."
I leave her to get ready and join Sarah and Pete. Zack and Sarah had managed to allow the police to let Brendon sort this out back home in LA. I knew Anna should go home, she would be more comfortable at home and she would have her boyfriend. I had messaged James to tell him we were flying home. Tyler couldn't come to LA with us, he was going back home to Ohio. We hadn't really seen Pete much, he was with Zack a lot though.
"She's up." I say.
"I wish I was here for her."
"It's ok Pete, you were helping on the other side."
"She was 8 months, 8 months."
"It's ok, she'll be ok."
Anna comes out a few minutes later dressed in track pants and a twenty one pilots hoodie with her suitcase. She walks over to Sarah and hugs her silently.
"Are you ok?" She asks her after a while and Anna just nods and smiles sadly. We all walk out of her room and meet the others downstairs. I turn around to see Pete and Anna talking; Anna was nodding her head while Pete was saying something then he wraps her small frame in a hug. When Josh comes into the lobby, he goes straight to Anna and hugs her tightly.
We get driven to the airport and Anna is silent the entire time, I really hoped this wasn't like last time. Tyler's flight was before ours so we wave Jenna and Tyler goodbye.
"Bye Anna, stay alive ok? I love you." He whispers hugging her.
"I will, I love you too." She whispers back.
Anna's POV
We get on the flight and it was not fun. Dad wasn't here to calm me down and because of that I was more anxious. I think Pete knew that too because he grabbed my hand and softly sang to me.

I wake up about 4 and half hours later with my earphones tangled around me. I fix them and I see I still have an hour and half to go. I grab out my laptop and work on my music.
"A, you hungry?" Pete says after tapping my shoulder and once I take my earphones out. I shake my head and plug them back in. But I guessed Pete wasn't going to take my answer because a granola bar was thrown on top of my laptop. I groan and look at Pete who gives me look. I sigh and open it. I connect to the plane wifi and watch some YouTube videos while eating it.
We finally land and collect our baggage. We walk outside and I spot a very familiar face and hear a very familiar voice. I run up and hug him. James lifts me slightly in the air and kisses me.
"Hey babe."
"Hello, how did you know we were landing? I forgot to message you sorry."
"No it's ok, Gerard told me."
I turn around to see Gerard smiling.
"Thank you."
"Of course, I'm glad you're smiling."
I smile and cuddle up to James.
"Right lets get home." He says and I nod. Sarah, Pete and I get into his car and he drives us home. Once we get home I immediately take my bag upstairs and unpack it.
There was a knock at the door.
"Come in."
James opens the door with a sandwich and a glass of water. He sets it on my bedside table.
"Thanks?"
"Pete said you hadn't really eaten so I thought I'd bring you some food," He explains, "I know it's hard, but you need to eat, you know Brendon would want you to."
"I know." I say and nibble at the sandwich.
I had eaten half of it when Pete knocked on the door.
"A you need to come downstairs, there's someone here for you."
James and I walk downstairs and I see a face I hadn't seen in about 4 years. The face who put me in all those dodgy foster homes.
"Anna, haven't you grown." My social worker, Janet, says and I awkwardly smile.
"Can I help you?" I ask politely.
"Yes, is there somewhere we can speak in private?"
I look at mum who nods and I take Janet upstairs to my room.
