Song of the Chapter: You Don't Know by Katelyn Tarver

Anna's POV

"A? Hey darling what's wrong?"
I hear dad and he sits on the bed next to me.
"Everything's ok, sit up A and come here."
I sit up and dad pulls me close to him.

Soon my crying turns to hiccups and I pull away from dad.
"Feel better?"
I shrug.
"What happened?"
I shake my head.
"Becca told us that you ran out of the session, what's up?"
There was silence between the two of us. He was waiting for me to speak.
"Alright, not speaking today? That's ok. Do you need anything?"
I shake my head and lean against dad. I smile at Mum who was sitting on the chair. She smiles back at me.
"Water?" He offers.
I nod and Mum hands me a water bottle.

After a while of silence, dad speaks up.
"Why don't you stay here with Sarah and I'll be back?"
I nod and sit up off him.

Brendon's POV

I find Becca, who was just in her office. I knock on the door and she looks up.
"Oh hello Brendon. How are you?"
"Good thanks, yourself?"
"Good thank you. How can I help?"
"I just wanted to know what happen since we left yesterday."
She nods and motions for me to take a seat.

"I've had reports from her nurse, Chloe, that Anna hasn't said anything since arriving and she refused to go to the cafeteria for dinner. When she gave Anna some dinner, she refused. She didn't have any breakfast either."
"What do we do?"
"She needs to open up, with her past behaviour and this I'm going to have to keep her here longer otherwise."

We talk for a bit longer before I go back to Anna and Sarah. Sarah was sitting next to her on the bed. They were watching a movie on Sarah's laptop. Spongebob to be exact.
"What are ya doing?" I laugh. The two of them look up and smile.
"Watching Spongebob, obviously." Sarah says.
"Obviously." I reply. "A, I've just spoken with Becca, you can't shut people out. They are here to help you. Just talk to Becca and the other doctors and nurses so they can help you feel more comfortable here. I know you don't want to be here but it's for your safety. Also you need to eat, you know that." I say calmly, pulling the chair closer to the bed and sit on it. She nods a little.
"Good girl, why don't-"
"Anna?" We turn around to see James. I motion for him to come in.
"Hey James, how's it going?"
"Yeah alright."
Anna holds her arms out and James gives her a hug.
"How are you going?" She shrugs.
"Why aren't you talking?" She shrugs again.
"Come on, what's up?"
She shakes her head and lowers her head. James looks at me and I just shake my head.
'Don't worry' I mouth.

"Im here!" We hear someone say as they walk in. "I also have Pete." This makes Anna lift her head to see Gerard and Pete. She gives a small smile as they hug her.

We hang out until Anna has to go have dinner. The nurses tried to get her to go to lunch but she refused. By dinner time, they were kicking us out mainly because they thought she wasn't leaving her room because we were there.

Anna's POV

They all leave and I get forced to go to the cafeteria. They weren't very happy that I missed meals, group therapy and my one on one session. But I didn't care. I wanted to go home. I take a seat away from everyone and a nurse named Jas came over to me with a bowl of soup and a glass of water.
"Eat." She says. I shake my head.
"Anna you need to eat or we are going to have to take further action." I shake my head again.
"Why won't you eat?" She says and sits opposite me. I shake my head.
"You're allowed to talk." I just stare at the wooden table.
"Alright don't talk but you need to eat this. You've got group therapy after this and we expect you to attend."
She says and walks off.
Well she's a bit rude geez
I guess Chloe has finished her shift because I hadn't seen her since this morning. The plate of food stays untouched.
