Song of the Chapter: Pink by Waterparks

Pete's POV

She instantly starts crying and apologising. Brendon had texted me saying she was in her room and pretending she was asleep but she was still active so he knew she was awake. I hold her close to me.
"A what's wrong. Stop shutting out people who care about you."
"I don't know anymore Pete. I don't know."

I keep asking her questions but it was clear she didn't want to talk so I just rocked her side to side until she fell asleep.

Once she was laying in her bed, asleep, I go downstairs to Brendon.
"She shouldn't be going on tour next month should she?" He asks.
"It's not up to me, it's up to you and her."
"I don't want her to go but I haven't seen her so excited for something in a long time."
"Does Awsten, Geoff or Otto know about her past?"
"No. Every time I tried to ask her about it while Awsten was around, she just cut me off."
"They're kinda the only people in her life that don't know about it and they're going with her to her homeland, shouldn't they know?"
"Probably but it's her call. Not mine. I already betrayed her by talking to you. She's definitely relapsed."
"I think so too."
"I don't know what to do anymore she keeps shutting us out and refusing help."
"I don't know either when does she leave for tour?"
"Next month, the 3rd."
"Ok."

Anna's POV

It was 2 days before I was supposed to leave for tour with Waterparks and I was hyped. I just avoided conversations with dad and Pete. I knew dad was scared about me going to Australia but I was determined to be fine. I couldn't hide from an entire country forever.
"Anna! Awsten and Otto are here!"
I rush downstairs to find Awsten and Otto waiting.
"Hello!"
"Hey Anna. Ready?"
"Yep."
I was coming with them to a meeting so they could explain what was going to happen.
"Bye dad."
"Bye A, have fun."

I jump in Awsten car and find Geoff in the passenger seat.
"Oh hello."
"Hello."

We drive to this huge building and I quietly follow the boys in to one of the meeting rooms.
"Ahh you must be Anna." A lady says warmly. I nod and smile and offer out my hand. She shakes it and gestures for me to sit down. I sit down next to Awsten and sit quietly while this lady, whose name was Leanne, explains that I will travel with them to Australia and do a show in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth before coming back home. She tells me that I have been invited to a radio interview in Perth if I wanted to
"I mean I've never done an interview but sure sounds fun."
"Awesome any questions?"
"Uh no I don't think so."
"Anything we should know about you?"
Should I tell them about my anxiety?
Do I tell them about my past?
"Anna?" Awsten questions and places a hand on my shoulder.
"Uh no. Not that I can think of."
"Ok awesome I think that's everything."
"Thank you."

I follow the boys back to the car.
"Anna you ok?" Otto whispers to me.
"Yeah I'm fine. Why?"
"No reason."
"Yo Anna want to go grab lunch?"
"No I'm ok thanks Awsten."
"You sure?"
"Yeah I ate before you picked me up."
I saw Otto and Awsten make eye contact via the mirror.
"Liar!!Brendon said you haven't." Awsten laughs.
Dad! Why would you do that.
"I'm not hungry thanks. I need to get home and practise and pack."
"Ok. Well if we don't see you before tour, we'll see you then. We'll pick you up early on the 3rd and we'll get on the plane."
"Ok. Thank you. I'm excited."
"Me too."

"Bye!" I say as I get out of the car.
"Bye Anna!" They all say.
"Hello!?" I call out as I walk inside.
"Hey. You're back."
"Little Urie!"
"Oh hello Patrick."
"Where were you?"
"At a meeting. I'm going on tour with Waterparks."
"Really! When? Where?"
"In two days to Australia."
"That's amazing!"
"Yeah."
