I sigh. I swear time passes by so slowly when you want things to happen. It was finally the day I could see James again and he would be able to stay in LA. The only problem was I woke up way too soon and now I was just watching the minutes tick by.

Screw this I'm going downstairs

I quietly walk downstairs and turn on the tv to a low volume and watch some YouTube.

I open my eyes and look around. I must have fallen asleep because I was laying down with a blanket covering me.
"Morning darling."
"Oh morning dad."
"How long have you been down here?"
"Since 6 I think yeah something like that. How long have I been asleep."
"Well it's about 9 am and I've been down here since 8 and you were asleep." He smiles, handing me a cup of coffee and sitting next to me. "You alright?"
"Yeah I'm all good, I just woke up really early and couldn't fall back asleep. Guess I fell asleep." I take a sip of coffee. "When can we go?"
"Go where?"
"James. Isn't he allowed to come home?" I place the cup down.
"Oh yes of course we can go when Sarah is awake."
"Oh ok."

I wrap the blanket around my shoulders and pick up my coffee off the table. Dad kisses my head and tells me that he will be working in the studio. I stare at the tv not really paying attention until my phone gives me a notification.

From Awsten: you free today?
To Awsten: no sorry, James is coming home
From Awsten: YAY

"Morning love."
I look up.
"Oh good morning mum. Wait you're awake! Dad can we go?!"
"Cam down love," mum laughs, "let's have breakfast first."
"I'm not-"
"Anna." Mum cuts me off.
"Ok." I sigh.

I help myself to a small bowl of cereal and sit down at the table. Dad comes and joins us.
"Can we go now?" I ask.
"After you finish your breakfast."
"But I'm not hungry."
"A, please."
I groan and turn my attention back to my cereal.
"Moving your spoon around the bowl isn't exactly eating A."
I subtle roll my eyes at dads comment.
"Dad stop watching me eat." I mutter.
"I'm sorry A. I'll leave you."
"Thank you."
He does just that and mum goes to have a shower. I get up and scrap my bowl before placing it in the dishwasher. I go upstairs and change my clothes from my pjs to a hoodie and jeans.

"Anna? Are you in there?" Dad says, knocking on the door.
"Yeah just changing."
"Alright. Meet us downstairs when you're done then we can leave. Oh and don't forget to take your medication."
"Yep."
I take the small white pill, grab my phone and run downstairs.
"Ok, now can we go?" I plead.
"Yes," Mum laughs, "yes we can go."

"Are we there yet?"
"No we aren't 20 minutes."
"Ugh." I lean back in my seat and look out the window.

From James: hey uh are you going to be here soon?
To James: yeah about 20 minutes. Everything ok?
From James: I don't know
To James: what's up?
From James: I don't know if I can go home. I can't go back to my house
To James: it's ok, I'll be here for you and you don't have to go back to your house
From James: but I do, I have to clear out all mine and my moms stuff and probably my dads stuff too
To James: don't worry about that now, we can worry about that later
From James: ok. I love you
To James: I love you too, won't be long until we get there

"Anna, we're 5 minutes away."
"Yay."

We arrive and I jump out the car and try and remember where James' room was. I see the guy from the same room.
"Uh? James' girlfriend?" They walk up to me and I nod.
"You here to see him?"
I nod.
"Not much of a talker are you?"
I shake my head.
"How have you even managed to see him? We aren't allowed visitors."
"Uh he's coming home."
"Doesn't he have to wait until he's 18?"
I nod and it clicks in his brain.
"Oh it's his birthday isn't?"
I nod.
"Want me to show you where our room is?"
"Yes please."
