Song of the Chapter: Lucky People by Waterparks

Anna's POV

I knew dad was worried about me.
I knew James was worried about me.
I knew mum was worried about me.
I wasn't eating properly again, they all knew that, they could all see it. But food was becoming the enemy again.

"A let's go out before you go back on tour."
"That sounds great."
"Cool I'll be back at 6 tonight to pick you up."
"Sounds good."
He kisses me and leaves. I go to my room and play music while I pack my bag for tour.

"Who's Geoff?" I spin around to see dad.
"Oh hey."
"Hey, whatcha listening to?"
"Waterparks, Geoff is one of the members."
"Ohhh I've heard of them."
"Yeah I found their music and I love it."
"That's awesome, you ready to go back on tour?"
"I think so, I've got everything. James is going to take me out tonight. Is that ok? Sorry I probably should of checked with you first."
"Of course you can go that's no problem. Just be back by 8:30, you have a big day tomorrow. Oh and by the way, Dallon and Ryan will meet you at the LA airport, they have been in LA since this morning."
"Ok cool."
I smiled, I was glad I wasn't going to be alone.

I was still jamming to Waterparks while I was getting ready and still when James to pick me up.
"Hey is that Waterparks?" He says, coming into my room.
"Yep!" I nod while singing along to 'Stupid for You'.
"Oh god, I love you." He laughs and shakes his head. "You ready?"
"Yep, hang on." I turn my speakers off, grab my phone and place it in my bag. "Now I am."

"Bye mum and dad."
"Bye have fun."
"Be back before 8:30 please."
"We will."

We get into James' car and he puts some music. It was Waterparks.
"I'm a big fan of them too." He says.
We sing along while he drives, I had no idea where we were going but I really didn't mind. I enjoyed just driving around listening to music with my boyfriend. We soon arrive at a bowling alley. I silently ask him what we were doing by tilting my head.
"Well I was thinking, we could play here for a bit and then go have some dinner."
"That sounds amazing." I say leaning over and kissing his cheek, and it did sound great apart from the dinner that is. We walk into this loud bowling alley and when I say loud, I mean loud. Little kids screaming, parents and adult talking over the top of the screaming kids. I did not like it at all, I can't handle loud noises that aren't music. James saw my anxiety messing with me so we left.

"I'm sorry."
"It's ok A, don't worry about it. I wasn't a fan of the noise either."
"What do we do now?"
"We can either go to dinner early or go to the arcade?"
"Arcade?"
"Sure."

He drives there which thankfully was much quieter. We spend two hours laughing, playing games and being little kids. But then we got to the part of the night I was dreading, dinner. I knew that James knew I was dreading it because he grabbed my hand.
"I know it's hard, but I need you to. Ok?"
I nod. I knew if dad found out I didn't eat, there was a high chance he wouldn't let me go on tour. It was kinda a guilt trip but he had good intentions.

We take a seat and look at the menu. I had no idea what I wanted but I finally settled on grilled fish and salad with water. James orders a cheese burger and fries with water. Our food comes and we eat and talk about tour and school, school was starting up in about a week and I felt bad that I hadn't spent much time with my friends because of tour. We had a movie night after I got back but they said they didn't mind as long as I didn't forget about them when I'm famous. I manage to eat all of my salad and a quarter of the fish. It made James happy so I did it.
