Song of the Chapter: All My Friends by Byron Langley
Anna's POV
"I'm so sorry." Abigail mutters while hugging me.
"It's ok." I had just told her what happened.
"It's not ok, you were hurting and I didn't even check on you, I'm such a shitting best friend." I could feel her crying a little bit into my shoulder.
"Hey, Abs you are not a shitty best friend. You are the most amazing best friend I've ever had, heck you're the only best friend I've ever had. You've helped me so much since I've known you and I always felt bad dragging you into my mess but you were always there for me." I say firmly, looking her in the eye. "Ok? You are amazing." She smiles a little. "Come on, let's go shopping." She nods and we get up. It was the day before Christmas and we were going Christmas shopping.
"Dad we're going now!"
"Ok darling have fun."
"We will!"
Abi and I get into mum's car and she drives us to the mall.
"Give me a call when you're done." She smiles.
"Will do, thank you mum."
"Thank you Sarah."
"Of course girls."
We walk into the mall and the amount of people makes me anxious and Abi notices.
"You good?"
"Yeah."
"Alright, let me know if you aren't."
I nod and we walk around the stores. I had a list of people to buy presents for.

A few hours later we were done. I had gotten Awsten a ring, Geoff a minion teddy, Otto some drumsticks, Megan and Lindsey some skin care, Layla a forever 21 gift card, Peter a hot top gift card, James a hoodie, Abigail and bath and body works gift card, Mum got a necklace, Gerard a set of comics, Bandit an art set, Saint and Bronx some LEGO, Pete a new bass strap because his broke and dad a Frank Sinatra painting. I had also gotten many boxes of chocolates.
Once Abi and I had finished I called mum.
"Hey we are finished."
"Ok, I'll be there in about 15 minutes."
"Ok. Thank you."
"See you soon. Love you."
"Love you too."
"Mum will be about 15 minutes so let's go get coffee."
"You and your coffee." She laughs.
I smile and shrug as we walk into a Starbucks. We order and take a seat with our drinks and bags of presents.
"So how are you going to get that painting in the house without your dad seeing?"
"Umm well I don't know actually. I didn't think of that."
"Let's just hope that he's in the studio or something."
"Yeah. Let's hope or maybe we can get mum to make him go away for a bit." I laugh.
We sit and chat until Mum calls to say that she was here. We make our way out of the mall when my name is called.
"Anna." I turn around to see a girl about 12, 13 years old.
"Hello?"
"Anna Urie?"
"That's me."
"Oh my gosh really? I love you."
"Aww really? I love you too what's your name?"
"Beth, can I have a hug?"
"Of course you can."
I hug her and ask if she wants a photo. She nods and we take a photo and she starts crying.
"Hey, don't cry it's ok." I smile and hug her again.
"I'm sorry this is just so crazy you are amazing."
"Aw you are amazing too thank you."
"Beth? Who are you talking to come on." A man says to her.
"Sorry Anna that's my dad I've gotta go."
"Alright it was nice to meet you."
"It was nice to meet you too."
"See ya later."
She smiles and walk off with her father.
I turn back around to Abigail and she just smiles.
"What?" I smile.
"You look so happy."
"Oh umm ok thanks?"
"It's nice seeing you happy."
I just smile and we find mums car.
