Song of the Chapter: Long Drive by Caroline Dare

Anna's POV

"Dad! Mum!"

I run up to them outside the airport and hug them tightly.
"Hello!"
"Welcome home."
"Thank you."
Dallon and Ryan say hello and goodbye as they go back into the airport to catch a flight home.
"Have you eaten anything yet?" Dad says as we get in the car.
"No. I woke up late and I didn't eat the plane food."
"Alright."
We pull up at some place and we go in and have lunch.

"Oh my gosh, are you Brendon Urie?"
"Hello, yes I'm Brendon."
"I love your music, Anna you too."
"Aww thanks." I smile
"Thank you, I love you. What's your name?" Dad smiles.
"Jackie. Can I have a hug?"
"Of course."
They hug both me and dad.
"Sarah you're so beautiful."
"Thank you lovely."
"Would you like a photo?"
"That would be amazing."
I step aside so they could take a photo.
"Anna is it ok if you're in the photo too?"
"Oh yeah of course sorry."

We take the photo and wave Jackie goodbye as she leaves. We finish our lunch and dad drives us back home. I was falling asleep in the back of the car from sleep deprivation. Once dad stops the car outside our house, I was asleep.

Brendon's POV

I smile as I pull up outside our house, Anna was asleep. I tried waking her up but just decided to carry her to her room. I lay her carefully on her bed and pulled a rug over her. I kissed her forehead and left the room, shutting the door behind me.

Anna's POV

Tour had finished a week ago and I had texted Awsten almost everyday. We had organised to go have coffee after James had finished school for the day except James didn't know Awsten was going to be there. Mum drives me and James to Starbucks.
"Thanks Mum."
"Thank you Sarah."
"No problem. Have fun."

"Anna!" I hear as we walk in and I turn around to see a familiar coloured hair friend.
"Hey!" I walk over to the table, dragging James along.
"Hello you must be James." Awsten says and holds out his hand.
"Holy shit! You're Awsten!" James says and clasps his hand over his mouth.
"That be me."
James turns around to me.
"Surprise?"
He hugs me.
"Thank you I love you!"
James turns back to Awsten and smiles. Awsten holds his arms out and gives my boyfriend a hug.
"It's lovely to meet you."
"It's amazing to meet you. I love your music so much."

We sit and chat for ages over coffee. Mum comes and picks us up and once we get home, James picks me up and hugs me tightly.
"That was amazing! Thank you! I can die happily now."
"You are most welcome but I don't want you dying anytime soon."
"I won't be. It was a figure of speech."
"Thank goodness for that."
He kisses me and puts me down.

A few weeks later, I had written more music and done lots of school work. It was the weekend and James had called me asking if I wanted to go for a drive.

"Mum, James and I are going out for the day."
"Ok love, be back by 9."
"Thank you."
I hug mum and change out of my pjs and into jeans, t shirt and light jacket. It wasn't cold that cold yet but it was still slightly cold.

James picks me up an hour later and I jump in his car and we drive for hours. We just talk and sing along to music. He goes through the drive thru and we get coffee and a muffin. We find a patch of grass near a lake and lay on the grass, cloud gazing.

"This is nice." I say snuggling up to him.
"Mhm. It is."
"I love you."
"I love you too baby girl no matter what happens. Ok?"
"Ok." I snuggle close to him and I fall asleep under the warmth of the sun and James playing with my hair.
