Song of the Chapter: Safe Inside by James Arthur

Anna's POV

I had an idea to get out of here but I didn't know if it was going to work. But anything was worth a shot because I was certain that I was close to dying.

"Uncle?"
"Anna."
"Could it be possible to charge my phone?"
"Why the fuck would you be allowed to do that!" He kicks me.
"Wait, listen please."
"30 seconds."
"Ok. I'll take my SIM card out so I can't use the internet or call anyone. Please just let me play my game."
He stares at me a few seconds.
"Fine, you weird kid. But remove the SIM card before you charge it."
I nod and remove it. He holds his hand out and I hand it over. The idiot places it on the other side of the room and he leaves and comes back with a charger. I plug it in next to me and plug my phone in.
"Thank you."
"Just wait for this afternoon." He leaves, forgetting about the SIM card, I guessed he thought because I was tied up I couldn't move but still. I knew he was planning on beating me up this afternoon but with any hope I would be out of here.

After my phone had charged to about 50 percent I dial a number. A number you don't need a SIM card for. 911.

"911, what is your emergency?"
"Uh hi, I've been kidnapped and I uhh don't know where I am. Please help me." I whisper.
"Sweetie it's ok we will help you. What is your name?"
"Anna Urie."
"Thank you. Do you have any idea where you are?"
"No. Sorry."
"That's ok love."

I could hear footsteps walking towards the door.
"I'm sorry I need to go." I quickly hang up and log into my game and act as if I had been playing it the entire time.
"Who were you talking to?"
"No one."
"I said, who were you talking to!?"
"No one. I'm being serious."
"You lying bitch!" Liam kicks me violently and sees my phone.
"Why do you have a phone?!"
"Uncle let me."
"Liam. She can't call anyone or access the internet, she took out the SIM card." My uncle says.
"You fucking idiot! She can still call 911! Did you call 911!?"
"No. I told you I wouldn't involve the cops." I cough out.
He snatches my phone and forces me to unlock it.

"You did! You fucking lying shit!" He throws my phone at me and leaves the room. He comes back 2 minutes later with a kitchen knife.
"Police! Open up!"

Brendon's POV

It had been 6 weeks and the police were going to close the case. I was waiting for the call. My phone rings and it was the number I was expecting, but definitely not the call.

"Brendon?"
"Hello?"
"Hi this is Officer Gray, 911 have just received a phone call from Anna. She's been found and has been taken to the hospital."
"Thank you, Thank you, thank you." I fall to the floor, crying massive tears, as I hang up.

"They've closed the case haven't they?" James says and I turn around to see Sarah, Pete and James. I shake my head.
"They found her."

Everyone starts crying and hugging each other. We finally pile into a car and I drive us to the hospital.

"We are looking for Anna Urie?" I ask reception.
"Sorry sir, no one is allowed to see her yet, it's under police investigation."
"I'm her father!"
"Excuse me? Sarah and Brendon Urie?" We turn around to see Officer Gray.
"Can I please see my daughter?" I cry and he nods and motions for us to follow him. He takes us to the intensive care unit and there were two police officers outside.
"We can't go in just yet but the nurse is observing her, she's alright had one surgery."
"Surgery?" Sarah asks.
"When we arrived at the scene, Mr Heed had stabbed her leg. We suspect it was because they found out she called 911."

After what felt like forever the doctor and nurse tell us that we can see her but only two at a time so James and Pete let me and Sarah go in first. I sit down on one side of her and Sarah sits on the other. Our darling girl looked in so much pain. He leg was wrapped and elevated, her forehead was stitched up, countless bruises and cuts. I just started crying. The heart monitor started beeping and a nurse rushed in.
"Is she ok?" Sarah asks. The nurse nods.
"She's having a nightmare and because of the anaesthetic, she can't wake up. I've changed her medicine so it should help but she will wake up in a lot of pain shortly."
"Ok." I nod.
