Anna's POV

"Are you ok?" James asks.
"I am, I want to make us work still if you're ok with it."
"Of course, that's means a lot to hear you say that."
"I love you."
"I love you too Anna." He kisses my forehead and my mind jumps to when I was taken.
I'm at home

"A? You ok?" Dad says, walking with 2 glasses of juice and I open my eyes.
"Hmm? Yeah I'm great thanks."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes everything is great." He nods and hands us a glass each.

"Thanks Brendon."
"All good, how are you going?"
"Yeah good."
"How's life at Pete's?"
"Good actually. He's very protective and always wants to make sure I'm safe and ok."
I nod understandingly and smile. Pete was like my big brother and he always made sure I was safe and ok and by the sounds of it, he wants the same for James which made me smile. I knew he was going to be ok and safe with Pete. I lean against James after placing my glass on the table and he wraps his arm around me. I smile.
"I've missed you."
"I've missed you too Anna."

I couldn't see dads face but I could feel that he was smiling.
"A, I'll just be in the office if you need me."
"Ok dad. Have fun."

"What should we do?" I ask.
"Whatever you want."
"Movie and popcorn?"
"Sounds like a plan."

He gets up off the couch and rummages through the kitchen cupboards looking for the popcorn while I click through the different movie options.
"I'm feeling Disney."
"Sounds good, Disney is great." He calls out of the sound of the microwave.

"Frozen 2 or Moana?" I say as he walks in. He laughs and sits next to me.
"Whatever I don't mind."
"I can't decide."
"Frozen 2 then."
"Frozen 2 it is."
I curl up next to him as the movie starts, singing the songs quietly.
"I've missed hearing your voice, it's so wonderful." He says.

We watch the rest of the movie, half watching and half talking about whatever. However, when the credits were rolling we were both singing loudly which caused dad to come down and see what was happening. He, of course, joined in.

"Is that my amazing girlfriend I can hear? I think so." James smiles at me. "Look at that, my awesome girl is on a soundtrack for a Disney movie."
"So is my awesome dad." I say smiling at dad too.
"It's funny, when that was done you were so scared to even do the backing vocals now you have the confidence to perform by yourself on tour." He says.
"Things have changed for me." I sing.
"And that's ok!" James adds and dad and I laugh.

"Anna? Why are you still awake?"

I look up from my laptop and see dad.
"Come on A you need to sleep."
I look at the time and see that it was almost 2 am.
"Sorry, I got caught up watching YouTube."
"Alright, goodnight."
"Goodnight dad."
He tucks me in and kisses my forehead after he closes my laptop. He places it on my desk and walks out the room after saying that he'll be in his room if I need him.
