Song of the Chapter: Impossible Year by Panic! at the Disco

Anna's POV

From dad: hey you ok?
To dad: Yeah I had a talk with Dallon, it helped
From dad: ok I'm glad. Can't wait for you to get home :)

I couldn't believe Dallon just did that. We just got home and he finally got to see his family but he put that on hold so I could get home safely. I tried protesting saying I'll be fine but he wouldn't have any of it and he got on the plane and sat next to me.

"Put your earphones in, I know it helps you. It always has."
I play music from a band I had always known about but only recently started listening to. Waterparks. I was falling in love with their music.

By the time I had listened to a bunch of Waterparks songs, we had landed. I was home. I hug Dallon and thank him.
"Of course Anna, talk to people and we can try and help or at least make it better."

I walk outside to see dad and mum. I squeal and run over to them. We have a group hug.
"Welcome home A."
"I'm happy to be home."
"Oh hello Dallon, I didn't know you were here sorry." Dad says, noticing Dallon.
"Well he wasn't originally coming but uhh yeah he came. Sorry Dallon."
"Anna stop apologising. It's all good, you're ok and safe that's all that matters."
Dad looks at me concerned. Crap I was going to have to explain that to him now. Although, I should of know he was going to find out. If not via me, by Dallon.

I hug Dallon again and then get in the car to go home. He was catching the next flight in about 4 hours back home.
"How was tour?"
"Amazing. It was so fun, well apart from Liam but like yeah."
"I'm glad you had fun. So what was Dallon talking about? Are you ok?"
"Yep. I just was so panicked about flying alone and Dallon knew something was up so as soon as I told him he booked himself a ticket so I wouldn't be alone."

As soon as we get home and I say hello to the dogs, I go to my room and fall asleep. I knew I was probably going to have a panic attack or nightmare, but I was too tired to care.

Brendon's POV

She was tired, understandably. Tour can be so exhausting, I know from firsthand experience. She goes to sleep almost immediately after her head hits the pillow.

To Dallon: thank you for flying to LA with her
From Dallon: no problem, I knew something wasn't right
To Dallon: yeah she doesn't like admitting when she needs help. She would have gotten on that plane, anxiety and all.
From Dallon: I know. How is she?
To Dallon: asleep.

Well she was. I could hear he crying from the other room. I walk in and she was sobbing into her hands.
"Shh it's ok. I'm here." I sit on the bed next to her and pull her close. It was like she was 13 again and it hurt me to see her like that.
"You're safe, I promise darling."
"I'm sorry dad. I'm so scared of him."
"Stop apologising love, it's ok. You're scared of him I know, but I promise you he can't hurt you. I'm not going to even let him look at you." She snuggles into me and I hold her.

There's no sunshine
This impossible year
Only black days and sky grey
And clouds full of fear
And storms full of sorrow
That won't disappear
Just typhoons and monsoons
This impossible year

There's no good times
This impossible year
Just a beachfront of bad blood
And a coast that's unclear
All the guests at the party
They're so insincere
They just intrude and exclude
This impossible year

There's no you and me
This impossible year
Only heartache and heartbreak
And gin made of tears
The bitter pill I swallow
The scars souvenir
That tattoo, your last bruise
This impossible year
