First Time (Smut... and Fluff)

Andrew and Y/N had been on about 7 dates throughout the last month. Things between the two were going well... very well. Better than any other relationship either had ever had. There was just one thing missing.

It all started when Shane decided to fix Andrew up with the pretty publicist assistant he met while doing a collab with the Dolan twins. Y/N was a gorgeous young publicist from Long Island, and she worked as an assistant to the Dolan boys' publicist Linda, a seasoned Hollywood PR person who was tough as nails. Y/N was responsible for communicating with Shane and his "team" to set up the interview Shane did with the Dolans, and Shane immediately liked the younger girl. She was smart as a whip, kind and funny, and she handled the Dolans and their budding careers so seamlessly that Shane almost considered hiring her himself.

Shane had been keen to set up his red-headed cameraman again since his last failed attempt to fix him up with Megan Batoon a few years back, and while Andrew was VERY hesitant to let Shane be in charge of his dating life, he had to agree with his friend that he needed some help in the romance department. He hadn't been with anyone seriously in forever, partially because Shane monopolized all his time with filming and editing, and partially because Andrew was terrible at making the first move. As popular as he was with the female fans of Shane and the Squad's channels, he simply couldn't translate that to real world dating success, and he hadn't had a serious girlfriend since he had ended his relationship with Gabbie.

Shane set the two up on a blind date and remarkably, agreed to do so with no cameras. The first time, they met at Shane's house first to have a neutral place where they felt comfortable, but after hanging out and chatting in the kitchen with Ryland, Shane and Morgan for an hour, Andrew decided to take the plunge and ask the beautiful blonde-haired blue-eyed publicist to coffee that night. She accepted and they left immediately, leaving Shane to gloat to Ryland and Morgan about the great job he'd done. The coffee went great, with the duo having more in common than they even thought. They both majored in Psychology in college, they both were more comfortable supporting talented people than being in the spotlight themselves, and they even both loved rap music and iced coffee.  At the end of the coffee date, they nervously exchanged numbers and a chaste kiss on the cheek, and Andrew promised to text Y/N to hang out again.

A week later they had a second date, this time a proper dinner at a cozy bistro in Culver City, where Andrew had previously gone when he lived in the neighborhood when he first moved to L.A. from Illinois. They ended up chatting for hours at the restaurant, even shutting it down, and then they walked hand in hand through the streets, chatting about anything and everything. Andrew drove Y/N home and walked her to the door of the apartment she shared with her best friend Laine, an Instagram model and sometimes waitress.  A true gentleman, Andrew asked permission to kiss Y/N, this time a little more passionately, and Y/N found herself with butterflies in her stomach as they kissed on her porch. A total romantic, Y/N couldn't believe how the scene played out like a movie, and she felt crazy when she admitted to herself that she was falling for the ginger camerman with the perfect white smile.

For date three, they hung out again at Shane's, this time with Ryland, Morgan and Garrett, as well as Morgan's friend Trinity, a true test of Y/N's ability to fit in with the "Squad." She passed with flying colors, drinking tequila with Ryland, dancing and making TikToks with The girls and listening to all of Garrett's dissections of the latest Marvel movie with the perfect amount of interest, while making Andrew laugh with her funny facial expressions while his best friend droned on and on. She laughed heartily at all of Shane's jokes and was even down to stay overnight in the guest room Andrew stayed in at Shane's.

"Are you sure this is OK with you?" Andrew asked Y/N cautiously after Shane basically insisted that they stay the night. "If you aren't comfortable I'm happy to just Uber home with you," he told her nervously, not wanting to push the girl he liked so much or make her feel pressured. "Yeah, it's fine Andrew," she told him genuinely. That night, he generously lent her a shirt from his huge collection of clothes stored at Shane's and turned around while she changed so as not to shamelessly check her out. Y/N smiled to herself at what a genuinely nice guy Andrew really was. As they climbed into bed that night, she cuddled into his side, and while they certainly made out and cuddled, they didn't go further than that. The next morning she woke up in Andrew's arms, and if she was being honest with herself, Y/N never wanted to leave them. He was perfect and she was almost scared at how much she was falling for the ridiculously handsome red head with the adorable cackle and soft brown eyes.
