"So you guys really aren't going to do anything for your first Valentine's Day?" Morgan asked incredulously as she and Andrew sat across the dining room table from each other at Shane's, eating Taco Bell they'd Postmated. Andrew shook his head, pursing his lips together a little bit. "I just don't know how we will. Shane and I are so busy with filming and stuff and Y/N will be in Toronto for another three weeks filming." He frowned a little and Morgan shot him a sympathetic look. "But it's your first one! That's a big deal," she said, and Andrew shrugged. "Yeah, I know, but it's just not in the cards."

Andrew had been dating his girlfriend Y/N for about 5 months, but the two had been best friends for a solid year before that. Y/N was an actress who'd achieved some success, and she had been in several movies and TV shows. Andrew met her in the office of he and Shane's management, when they were both sat in the same lounge area, Andrew waiting as Shane signed some contracts, Y/N waiting for her driver to pick her up. They got to talking and exchanged numbers, and while Y/N thought Andrew was the sweetest, cutest guy she'd ever met, the shy red-head was much too nervous to ask her out. Instead, they started hanging out as friends. This went on for the entire year, with Y/N making friends with the Squad while Andrew got to know Y/N's actress and model friends.

The two were inseparable, and after months of Shane and Ryland teasing Andrew mercilessly about his obvious crush on his female BFF, Andrew could no longer keep his feelings for her a secret. Y/N had been offered a part in a movie, and she was going to be gone to Ireland for three weeks to film. The night before she was scheduled to fly out, she and Andrew hung out together at his apartment, and after a lot of whiskey drank between the two, Andrew confessed his undying love for Y/N. To his utter shock, she felt the same way, and they'd been together ever since. Since the two had become a couple, they hadn't been apart for a single day, save for the three week trip to Ireland. Somehow, Y/N had managed to stay in Los Angeles as she worked on another movie, but she had recently been selected for the coveted lead role in an HBO mini-series produced by Reese Witherspoon. It was the biggest thing to ever happen to Y/N's career, but it would require her to spend six weeks in Toronto.

After Y/N cried her eyes out and Andrew assured her that everything would be fine, she took off, and they were about halfway through the filming period when Valentine's Day came up. Andrew had been working non-stop with Shane on a new conspiracy video, and Y/N had worked 14 hour days shooting the mini-series, both resigned to the fact that they wouldn't see each other until the shoot was over. While Andrew had encouraged Y/N to take the role, knowing how big it would be for her career, he couldn't lie and say he didn't miss her terribly. Y/N wasn't just his girlfriend; they were still the best of friends too, and he honestly hated to go a day without her, let alone 6 weeks. He hadn't given Valentine's Day much thought, more consumed with how much he missed her generally, but as Morgan brought it up, he did start to feel a little sad.

"What if you went to Toronto and surprised her Andrew?? That would be so awesome," Morgan suggested, and as Andrew was shooting her a skeptical look, Shane and Ryland came into the room. "What are you guys talking about?" Ryland asked as the two sat down at the table to join Morgan and Andrew for lunch. "Morgan was just making the totally crazy suggestion that I should fly to Toronto to surprise Y/N for Valentines Day," Andrew said with a roll of his eyes, and Shane's entire face lit up.

"What an awesome idea!" the red headed YouTuber exclaimed, sighing dreamily, and Andrew shook his head. "Bitch! What's wrong with that idea? I think that's pretty fucking romantic," Shane added, and Andrew pursed his lips together. "Yeah, I don't know. That seems pretty clingy. I don't know if that's the greatest idea you guys have had," he said with obvious hesitation. Y/N was the center of Andrew's world, but there was still a small part of him deep down that could barely believe the beautiful 25 year old actress was actually his girl. He always felt she was out of his league, and he hated the idea of seeming like he was too desperate to see her, despite the fact that she obviously adored him.
