"So you can't be in your house for three weeks, Y/N?" Morgan asked incredulously as the two girls sped along the freeway in Y/N's white Audi S5. They were headed to Shane's to film for Ryland's video about renovating his shed into an office, as Ryland wanted to get his friends' reactions. Y/N had been Ryland's best friend since they'd worked together at Clevver, and Y/N had left the company around the same time as Ryland. Just as Ryland had started his YouTube channel, Y/N had gotten a job as a reporter on Extra, the entertainment show, but the two had stayed inseparable, and Y/N had become a full-fledged member of the Squad. The beautiful auburn-haired girl adored Ryland and Shane, and she had gotten close with Morgan as well.

The morning that Y/N was picking up Morgan to head to Calabasas, she'd woken up to a busted pipe leaking water all over the second floor of her house. After two hours of nervous waiting while plumbers and contractors looked over the house, she got the news. She'd have to move out for three weeks while the repairs and construction was done. Y/N was worried, thinking about managing the three weeks away from her house with work and her other commitments, and she had even considered bailing from Ryland's video, but she felt bad, not wanting to disappoint her best friend.

"Ugh, I guess I'll just stay in a hotel," the beautiful red-head grumbled to Morgan as they cruised onto the exit towards Calabasas, and Morgan shook her head. "No, Y/N! You can't stay in a hotel for that long. It would be so expensive and so uncomfortable. I'm sure Ryland and Shane would let you stay with them," Morgan said, immediately feeling bad for her friend. "I'd have you stay at my place, but with my roommate there and Trinity coming next week, it might be kind of crowded," Morgan said, thinking about her small apartment, and Y/N smiled sweetly at the blonde. "Oh, that's OK, Morg, it'll work out."

As the two pulled up to the beautiful white mansion in Calabasas, Y/N pulled into a spot next to Andrew's gray Toyota Camry, noticing Garrett's Prius parked in the drive as well. Y/N liked Andrew and Garrett, but she wasn't close with them the way she was with Ryland, Shane and Morgan. She didn't have anything in common with Garrett, and Andrew was so quiet and shy that he barely talked to her. Distracted by her predicament with the house, she barely noticed when Ryland came out of the house to greet them, Andrew trailing behind filming him.

"Hey girls!" Ryland cheered, and Morgan giggled a little at how loud and bougie her big brother could be. Y/N smiled weakly, groaning a little as she saw Andrew pan the camera in her direction, and he immediately blushed at her annoyed reaction. "Sorry, Y/N, do you not want to be filmed?" he asked her in his trademark soft-spoken voice, and she immediately felt bad. "My bad, I should have asked you first," he said, shaking his head a little, and she smiled at him, feeling guilty about her reaction. "What's wrong Y/N?" Ryland asked, ushering the girls into the house and walking with them into the kitchen where Shane and Garrett were engaged in a heated argument over horror movies.

Y/N sighed a little, sitting at the bar with her head in her hands as she noticed Andrew had turned off the camera. "Well, I'm just having a rough morning," the pretty auburn-haired girl said with a groan. "I have a broken pipe flooding my house and I have to leave for three weeks!" she cried, and Ryland immediately pursed his lips together, rushing over to put his arm around his friend. "Oh, man Y/N, that sucks!" Shane said dramatically, and Y/N smiled at him weakly. "Can Y/N stay with you guys?" Morgan asked Shane, and he immediately nodded. "Obviously, Y/N! You can stay with us for as long as you want," Shane said with a smile, always one to open his home to any of his friends when needed. Y/N smiled sweetly at Shane, sighing.

"Wow, Shane, really? That would be amazing," Y/N said with a slight grin, and Shane nodded. "Of course, Andrew stays over all the time!" Shane answered, glancing over at Andrew as he blushed, looking at his shoes. But Ryland immediately gasped. "Oh, God, Shane, my parents, Austin and Stacey and my grandma are all coming in two days though! I don't think we're gonna have room," Ryland cried, immediately feeling awful that he couldn't help his friend out. Shane frowned, trying to figure out what to do to help Y/N out, and Ryland bit his lip.
