"You have to come Y/N! I'm not in town that long and a ton of my friends are going to be there!" Y/N's little sister Chloe begged her over the phone, and on the other side, Y/N groaned, head in her hand as she sat at her desk in her apartment. She was so tired and had a huge project due at her office where she was a junior project manager at an engineering firm. The last thing she wanted to do was go out to some Los Angeles bar with her little sister and a gaggle of her friends for a drunken night out. But Y/N absolutely adored her baby sister, and she had never in her life been able to say no to Chloe.

"OK, fine Chlo, but I can't stay long. I have something really important due for work Monday," Y/N prefaced, trying to set expectations, and she heard Chloe let out a disgusted sigh.

"Y/N! I'm only here for another two days. You're always working. When was the last time you had any kind of fun?" her sister asked expectantly, and Y/N shrugged to herself.

"I'm sure you don't need me hanging out with your friends and crashing your fun anyway," Y/N argued, and Chloe groaned. "You're my favorite person on earth Y/N! You act like you're ancient or something. You're 27 years old, you're not elderly." Y/N sighed, agreeing to meet at the bar, and after hanging up with her sister, she rolled her eyes, standing up from her desk and shutting her laptop.

Y/N was 5 years older than her sister, and she was the most protective older sibling there was. The two had been inseparable since they were kids, and it was only about a year ago that Chloe had moved from their hometown of L.A. to Chicago for law school, and the sisters were still having trouble adjusting to not seeing each other every day.

Y/N's mother had died when she was three years old, and two years later her dad married her stepmom Jane. Shortly thereafter the couple gave birth to Chloe, and she was the apple of Y/N's eye. She loved her sister from day one, and the two had only gotten closer since their dad had passed away five years ago. Chloe had been so young at the time and Jane was lost in grief. Y/N immediately stepped up, doing everything she could to care for Chloe and her stepmother, and Chloe relied on Y/N like she did her own mother. There was nothing in the world that Y/N wouldn't do for Chloe, and she hated to admit to herself, but she was 100% fine with forgoing her own needs if she thought it would make her baby sister happy.

An hour later, Y/N had traded in her ratty sweats and old sorority tee for a bodycon dress and heels, and while she rarely dressed in anything other than work clothes or activewear anymore, she felt good, her long lean frame highlighted by the heels. She walked reluctantly into the club and immediately saw Chloe running toward her excitedly with her friend Sophie following close behind.

"Y/N! I'm so glad you're here! I knew you wouldn't let me down!" the younger girl exclaimed, and Y/N couldn't help the grin that melted onto her face at her sister's excitement.

"Hi sweetie, you know I couldn't miss out on your last night here. Soph, it's great to see you too," Y/N said politely, leaning in to side-hug Chloe's college friend.

"Hey Y/N! It's been so long since we've seen each other," Sophie said kindly. "Wait til my brothers see you, they're gonna die!" she added, and Y/N immediately raised an eyebrow.

"Your brothers are here? Which ones?" Y/N asked quietly, trying to seem nonchalant, and Sophie grinned. "All three of them!" she shrieked, and Y/N looked at Sophie before turning to Chloe in surprise.

"Really, all three?" Y/N asked, trying to appear unbothered, and Chloe nodded. "Of course, they'd never miss my visit!" she giggled to herself.

Sophie was the youngest of four, and her three older brothers doted on her. As Y/N looked around self-consciously, she laid eyes on all three of the Siwicki brothers, the two younger brunettes and their red-headed oldest brother, and she couldn't help but sigh to herself.
