Reader Request: "I've never really seen fanfics/imagines including fights (as a couple) so could you maybe write an imagine about that? And when they make up, Andrews buys Y/N something cute. Thank you!!!!"

Here you go, @hashbrownsareyuck Enjoy!

"Andrew! I've got to get going, are you going to come help me get my bags out to the car?" Y/N called out from the living room of the apartment she shared with her redheaded boyfriend. Andrew shuffled out from their bedroom, standing at the landing of the staircase and peering down at his pretty girl. He looked just out of bed, his long red curls rumpled and messy, his brown eyes hazy. He still had on the same gray sweats he'd slept in, and he was hastily pulling a navy blue Notre Dame hoodie over his chest as he walked out, letting out a huge sigh.

"I'm coming, I'll help you," he said, not seeming at all enthused, and Y/N frowned. "Baby, it's only a few days and then I'll be back," she said softly as he walked down the stairs, a look of disgust on his handsome face. "I can't miss it, Andrew, I'm a bridesmaid," she said, biting her lip a little.

Y/N was headed to her hometown of Austin, Texas to stand in her best friend from college Liza's wedding. Liza and Y/N had been inseparable friends for years, and Y/N had actually introduced Liza to her future husband Dominic. Y/N had dated Dominic's best friend Joe as well, but they broke up when Y/N first moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in entertainment. Y/N had ended things with Joe when she got a job as a production assistant on "The Biggest Loser," and since then, she'd climbed the ladder in entertainment, working her way up to segment producer on "The Kelly Clarkson Show." She'd met Andrew at an industry party and the two had been together for about a year. They were completely in love, and Y/N had never felt about anyone the way she did about the sweethearted redhead from Illinois.

Andrew trusted Y/N, and he adored her. But deep down, he was still the insecure, introverted boy from Chicago with little confidence when it came to girls, and sometimes, those insecurities came out when it came to Y/N. She was gorgeous, self-assured, and completely confident, and try as Andrew might, he sometimes couldn't fully grasp that she was his. He hadn't been thrilled about her going to Austin for the wedding, mostly because her ex-boyfriend Joe was set to be the best man to her maid of honor. Y/N had wanted Andrew to come with her to the wedding, but he couldn't, not with he and Garrett's "Sweet Boys" podcast debuting in a few short weeks. There was too much work to be done to get ready for the release, and because Andrew was the more organized, management-oriented of the two, he had taken on most of the practical tasks surrounding the podcast while Garrett served as the creative mind. There was no way he could sneak off to Austin for a long weekend, but of course, there was no way Y/N could miss it.

Y/N didn't see this as much of an issue. In her mind, Andrew had nothing to worry about. She would go and spend time with her college friends, and then she'd be back to L.A. in no time. But Andrew saw it differently. He didn't know her ex that well, but he'd met Joe a few times when hanging out with Liza and Dominic, and from what Andrew could tell, Joe was still utterly in love with Y/N. He would never admit it to her, but Andrew wasn't near confident enough in himself or his ability to land a ten like Y/N, and her being around Joe made him completely uncomfortable. He was sure Joe would take advantage of his absence at the wedding to try to remind Y/N of the great times they'd had together, and Andrew was dreading the entire thing.

Andrew dragged Y/N's suitcase out to the Uber, and he sighed again as she turned toward him, wrapping her arms around his mid-section and resting her hands on his shoulder blades. "I love you baby, I'll see you really soon OK? The weekend will fly by and then I'll be back," she said softly, and Andrew tried to smile at her. He knew he was being ridiculous, and Y/N had never done anything to make him doubt how committed she was to him, but his dumb insecurities just overtook him, and he couldn't help it. He tried to pull himself together, not wanting Y/N to get mad at his sullen attitude.
