Shane stood in front of the full-length mirror in the private fitting room at Christian Sirriano's showroom on Robertson Boulevard, nervously fiddling with the lapel of his black tuxedo jacket, chewing on his bottom lip. There was nothing Shane hated more than dressing up in fussy clothes, but for Ryland, he'd do anything. The two had finally planned their long-awaited nuptials, after more than a year of being engaged, and while Ryland relished the idea of wearing a custom-made suit, Shane dreaded it. There was a part of him deep down that wished Ryland would have agreed to his idea to wear Shane merch and get married at an actual carnival, but at the end of the day, Ryland was the love of his life, and he wanted to give him the perfect wedding. And so, at Jeffree's urging, he ended up at Christian Sirriano, having an extremely expensive, custom-made suit fitted exactly to him, the stuff his actual nightmares were made of.

Andrew stood behind him, looking about as uncomfortable as his red-headed boss, pulling at the brim of his black Kansas City baseball hat as he shuffled his feet and studied his best friend. Andrew was the epitome of a best man, literally the best man in every aspect of Shane's life, from work, to fun to the wedding. He had spent countless hours supporting Shane in every single professional endeavor, and while he knew literally nothing about fashion, he figured if he could spend a year helping the YouTuber develop a makeup collection and survive, he could certainly spend an hour in Beverly Hills helping Shane feel OK about the prospect of wearing a designer suit.

"You know, buddy," the sweet red-headed cameraman started, clearing his throat as he noticed the look of complete discomfort on Shane's face, "I think this was a good move. You're gonna want to feel comfortable at the wedding. This way, you'll know for sure the tux fits great so you don't have to stress." He flashed Shane a winning grin, and Shane let out a deep breath. There was something about Andrew that always managed to settle Shane's nerves, an unspoken agreement between the two that Andrew would serve as a sounding board as well as an editor and producing partner. Shane nodded a little, studying his reflection before his eyes grew wide again. "But what if I gain weight before the wedding after he takes all this time to fit it to me?" Shane asked nervously, and Andrew rolled his eyes.

"It's only a week away Shane. Plus, that's why you pay him a gazillion dollars. If you gain weight in the next week, he'll fix it. I think you're probably good though. The way Ry has you running around, you'll probably burn off any of the extra calories you might take in." He grinned again and Shane started laughing, grateful for his friend's calm demeanor. "You know, buddy, if it will help you out, I'll eat that share of Suzy's cake in the middle of the night for you," Andrew said with a devilish grin, and Shane guffawed. "You really are the best man," Shane said gratefully as Christian came in the room to complete the pinning and make last minute adjustments.

The two red-heads walked out of the design room, climbing into Andrew's black GMC Yukon to head back to Calabasas, and Shane turned to his friend from the passenger seat. "Thanks again for coming with Andrew. And you know, for doing all this crap. I love Ryland and can't wait to be married, but between you and me, I can't wait for this wedding to be over," Shane said, eyes sparkling. Andrew nodded in agreement. "Between you and me, I can't wait til you guys can go on your honeymoon and I can finally get a full night's sleep," Andrew told Shane, winking at him, and Shane started laughing. "Thank God you're here to keep me sane," Shane said as Andrew pulled onto the freeway, headed back to the complete chaos that the Adams-Dawson house had become.

"So what's on the agenda today?" Andrew asked as they drove along. Shane furrowed his eyebrows, thinking carefully about the plans. "Well, Ryland and Morgan left to go pick up Aunt Susie, Uncle Ron and their cousin, and I think they're all coming back to the house. Vickie, Bruce, Austin and Stacie are already there. So you know, it's a full house." Shane laughed a little, and Andrew knew how nervous it all made him. Shane loved Ryland's family, but having that many people in his house at once was enough to set Shane's anxiety off. Andrew scratched the back of his neck. "Where are his aunt and uncle staying? Not with you guys, huh?" Andrew asked, and Shane nodded. "Oh no, they're staying at a hotel, I think. Or maybe Y/N is staying with Morgan? I'm sure Morgan will want her to go out every night."
