A/N: I've been busy working on my new Andrew book called "One Night..." and I really LOVE it. I hope you'll check it out, but it's heavy, and I needed a sweet release, so I'm back on my bullshit with this one. Enjoy :)
Andrew and Y/N sat quietly on the flight, holding hands and cuddling up in their seats as they headed off on the trip of a lifetime. There was a movie playing softly on the screen in front of them, some romantic comedy, but neither was watching it as they relaxed, quietly leaning back, Y/N's head resting gently on Andrew's chest, and he let go of her hand to wrap his long arm around her, rubbing her arm softly as she sighed. They had just had the longest and most exciting night of their lives, and then they'd gone against everyone's advice, leaving for the trip immediately following their wedding reception, eager to get going on their honeymoon. They'd slept for most of the flight, occasionally waking up and chatting about the wedding, but for the most part, they were lounging, waiting to get to the airport and get the trip started.
They got engaged nine months ago, after dating for two years and following Andrew's sweet proposal in the golf cart on Shane's Calabasas property on a night where they were hanging out with their friends. Andrew had been obsessed with Y/N since the minute he laid eyes on her at a Hollywood party, where she'd tagged along with her friend Lacey, a YouTube lifestyle vlogger. Y/N was at the time a dental student, but she was as beautiful as all the social media types and influencers at the party, her long golden hair falling in perfect beach waves, her tanned skin glistening, her ocean-blue eyes sparkling. Y/N didn't know who Andrew was, and that charmed him even more, and he stole himself and asked her out, and the rest was history.
Y/N came from a wealthy Los Angeles family, and her dentist father and former model mother had been intent on throwing the wedding of the century for their only daughter. Andrew had been the perfect classic groom, letting Y/N and her mother plan the entire wedding, and he told his fiancee to tell him when to show up and what to wear and he'd be there. The wedding was held at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, and Y/N wore a custom Lazaro gown. There were 500 guests, and the night was a complete whirlwind. Andrew had asked Y/N if there was anything he could do to help her with the plans, and she told him he could be in charge of the honeymoon. Andrew was both shocked and elated when his usually type-A bride told him that he could take complete control, and that he could even surprise her with the location. He couldn't believe it, but Y/N had just completed her dental boards and was set to join her father's practice after they came back from the honeymoon, and she wanted to just sit back and relax without any cares on their special trip.
Andrew was known to be a pretty simple guy. Despite the fact that he and Shane had achieved financial success beyond what either had thought possible with the release of the makeup collect and merch line, Andrew still drove the same sensible Toyota Camry his parents had bought him at his college graduation, and his wardrobe consisted of the same sweats and hoodies he'd had for years. Y/N found it utterly charming, adoring Andrew's humble personality and lack of frivolity. There was only one area of his life where he would ever consider splurging, and that was Y/N. He had bought her a stunning custom Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring, and with Shane's encouragement, he decided to make the honeymoon as lavish and beautiful as he could. And so the couple headed to Bora Bora for a ten-day trip, away from L.A. and all the distractions and responsibilities that they had.
Y/N shrieked with excitement as their Uber pulled up at the St. Regis in Bora Bora, and Andrew smiled approvingly at the looks of their new digs, which he'd booked at Shane's suggestion. Shane was a St. Regis VIP, as was Jeffree, and with their help, Andrew had scored the ultimate: an over-the-water bungalow, and Y/N was so thrilled that she jumped up and down like a kid on Christmas morning as the bellhop brought their luggage to their villa.
