In, "Season 2, Episode 13: Virtually Impossible" Jessie has an job interview and basically pretends to be all clean and Nic is wanting to believe that she was clean but then when she sees Jessie and Nic's old friend from high school and her parents tell Nic that she never recovered from everything and then she runs to her house and finds Jessie's pills and then confronts Jessie about it, Jessie denies that they are even hers. Nic just stared at her, was her sister actually lying to her. She knew that Jessie had relapsed again.
It took everything in Nic not to freak out on her. She had one last chance.
She didn't know what to do, so she decided to tell her that Letty was at Chastain.
"Jessie, don't you remember Letty? That girl you and I used to hang out with in high school"? Nic asked.
Jessie just looked at her in disbelief, "No, she's not".
