Just an inch open

We arrive and get our stuff before putting them in the trunk and dismantling the tent. We put it back in the bag and give it to the workers before heading back to the car.

RM drives away and we follow the manager's van to the hotel. We drive for 2 hours and 53 minutes before arriving to Fresno. The manager's car finally parks in front of a hotel so we do the same before we get out of the car and get our baggages from the trunk.

The manager and his workers lead us inside and ask for reservation at the the front desk before we are given the key to the room. The manager hands RM the key and I ask him "But where are you guys gonna stay?"

The manager chuckles "We have the trailer the boys slept in". I nod and he says bye to us before we part ways and go in the elevator before pressing the button for the 5th floor.

The doors close and we go up before they slide open and we walk along the far hallway until we get to room number 58. RM slides the key in and unlocks the door before opening it, we enter the room and find 3 double-decker beds and a bed next to these on our right and a small living room in the back.

I step closer to the living room and see an open kitchen on the right with a door next to it, probably leading to a bathroom. I put my suitcase on the big couch as V helps Jungkook sit on the couch.

The other boys put their bags on one bed each before walking to the living area, wondering what to do now. I search in my bag and find my hygiene pack before saying as I walk to the bathroom door "I'm gonna take a shower."

They nod and I go in the bathroom before closing it behind me, I try to lock the door but the lock doesn't work. I sigh and put my small bag on the sink before unzipping it and taking out of it my shampoo bottle and body wash.

I undress and fold my dirty clothes next to the sink before grabbing my bottles and hopping in the tub of the shower. I close the drapes and turn on the warm water before standing there, relaxed by the hot liquid against my skin.

Suga's POV:

I say to everyone while searching in my suitcase "We should change before Jennifer comes out of the shower". They agree with me and start digging in their bags while I find my pyjamas before I quickly put them on.

I button up my blue silky shirt and help Jungkook change before sitting with him on the couch and turning on the TV. We go on the news channel and see Jennifer's face on it so it must talk about her.

I turn up the volume and the news lady says "Earlier at 11:33pm Jennifer, the world's most famous cover singer, does a true act of generosity and replaces k-pop singer Jungkook after he hurts himself at rehearsals."

The boys changing next to their beds hear the news and come next to us before we continue to listen to the rest of the news. "The lovely Jennifer decided last minute to give a helping hand and sing Jungkook's part of the show while he was healing in the waiting room backstage."

The news shows images of Jennifer dancing with us and another image of her interacting with the fan who asked her why Jungkook wasn't there. Another image comes up of a picture of the big screen with an image of JK and Jennifer hugging backstage before she came back and finished the concert.

The woman disappears from the screen and we see a video that a fan took of Jennifer holding a child between me and Jungkook while the presenter says "After the show Jennifer went to the fanmeet with BTS, the boyband Jungkook's in, and sat next to Jungkook to keep him company while she too was interacting with fans of her own. One of the fans's kids ran up to Jennifer and told her that she wanted to be a princess just like her, one day."

Me and the boys smile at each other, recognizing how generous Jen really is. I turn back off the TV because they're done talking about that and I get up before the boys get back to changing and getting ready.

I go up to the bathroom door to tell Jennifer that she was on TV, I hear the water running so she probably hasn't finished showering. But as I'm about to knock, I see that the door is an inch open. I pull away my hand that was reaching for the door and start observing what I can see through the crack.

I only see her hygiene pack next to the sink with her clothes, I also see the half-steamy mirror with the bathtub and the closed drapes. The drapes are transparent so I'm able to see Jennifer through it, I can see her forms and ondulations but I can't see it clearly due to the steam on the drapes and the mirror. But I still watch.

She washes off the foam of shampoo on her head before taking her body wash and rubbing it all over herself until it starts to bubble. She wipes off the body wash with the water and sticks her arms out of the shower to reach for something in her small bag.

She grabs a conditioner and pulls it the shower with her before opening the bottle and pours some on her hand before putting down the bottle and applying the product on her hair.

I shyly smile and lay my head against the door frame before suddenly hearing from behind me "Suga?". I quickly turn around and discreetly close the bathroom door before seeing V helping Jungkook stand who were behind me.

"Are you spying on Jennifer?" Jungkook asks me and I awkwardly scratch my neck while trying to think of an excuse. And before I can even answer V asks concerned "What did you see?" I see that Jungkook does the same excited face as V.

I smirk and say "Why don't you find out?" before stepping aside to let them see for themselves. They quietly rush to open the door an inch wide and start looking at the reflection.

I hear the shower turn off so I quietly run to my bed to pretend like I was there the whole time and V hurries to carry Jungkook to the couch, accidentally leaving the door open.

Jennifer leaves the bathroom in a towel wrapped around her body and grabs a set of pyjamas from her suitcase before going back in the bathroom to change.

She comes out a few minutes later and sits on the couch next to Jungkook to take care of him, since he's ill. He cuddles with her before V joins and hugs her on the other side.

I see Jimin climb off his bed and run to the couch before getting on his knees and hugging Jennifer's waist to be a part of the ground hug.

I'm starting to get jealous and angry so I just shake it off and lay in my bed and close my eyes, trying to sleep.
