My old friend [BTS fanfiction]

Karaoke night

Jennifer's POV:

It is now 6:55pm and me and RM have been home for a few hours now, we are all chilling in the living room and half the members are on their phones. I look towards the tv and see the karaoke machine next to the tv furniture.

I get the idea and get up before walking up to it and grabbing the two microphones, I dispatch them to V and Jimin and everyone looks up at me confused before I say "Tonight, we get off the couch and have a karaoke contest."

J-Hope and Jungkook cheer before everyone gets up and V turns on the karaoke machine while I say to RM "Lets make a Run episode out of it" RM looks at me confused and says "But the filming crew isn't here tonight."

I shrug and say "We can do it without them for once, all we need is a few cameras and tripods" he nods and we run up the stairs to grab our cameras. We get three of them and come back downstairs before setting them up at different angles and turning them on.

I look at the boys and see that V has a clown wig on and Jimin is wearing a party bow tie, which I don't know where they got them. As song starts and V start dancing all around the room, making me laugh.

I sit with the four other members while V Jimin and RM start singing à Korean song. V dances like a total psychopath and Jimin is having so much fun singing, making me laugh at their childish behavior.

I see RM pull out from one of the drawers on the TV furniture a headband with tiger ears, he puts them on before his part comes up and he starts singing. Jin gets up from the other couch and starts dancing, J-Hope does the same thing which makes me laugh even harder.

RM sings loudly and suddenly yells a note which sounds like a police siren before V rolls onto the floor and accidentally knocks over the stack of water bottles next to the karaoke machine.

The song ends and they get 83 point, making that a huge disappointment for them. J-Hope and Jungkook start deciding on a song and they come up with one before searching it on the karaoke machine.

The song starts and J-Hope joins in the song too late, making all of us laugh. J-Hope chuckles and exclaims "Lets start over!" Jungkook starts over the song and J-Hope prepares himself before starting the song half a second late, making us laugh once more.

They continue the song anyways and a part without vocals start as a beautiful melody, making Jungkook and J-Hope start waltzing by themselves. I smile and get up before pulling Suga out of the couch and forcing him to dance with me, just like what I did onstage.

I swing his hands left and right and he smirks at me trying to make him have fun and he finally starts moving his hands on his own, he even changes the movement. I smile and he spin around as we waltz to the song before I see his angelic gummy smile appear.

I smile even wider and he smiles back before we continue dancing while the boys start singing. Suga dances less and starts getting tired before he flops back onto his seat on the couch.

I roll my eyes as I smile and I sit back on my seat before we all start to wave our arms left and right, swinging them to the rhythm of the song. J-Hope and Jungkook sing beautifully until the song ends and they end up with 81 points, which doesn't beat the first team.

Jin, RM and Suga stand up before walking up to the karaoke machine as they try to decide on a song. Jungkook and J-Hope sit on the couch, exhausted from what they just did, and I hear Jin yell "Just pick something, Suga!"

I look over at them and Suga says in his defense "I hardly know any karaoke songs" and they start checking out the songs on the karaoke machine. After a few minutes a song starts after Jimin and V get up to approach the machine. We hear electric guitar suddenly come out of the speakers before all the boys who are standing up start lean up and down at the same time to the rhythm of the song.

After Suga puts on the furry tiger headband he suddenly screams through the mic for a few seconds. And a few seconds pass before he starts to sing while jumping up and down. Jin joins wearing the multicolored wig and sings the same thing through his mic.

Suga sings the chorus "🎶You're my sunshine, we were together🎶" and Jin follows while the other members dance to the good song.

After all the song singing

Since J-Hope and Jungkook have lost the competition we start to think of something they have to do. I say while Jin turns off the three cameras set up in the room "Since there is nothing to do, we can just tell them to cut slices of my birthday cake and serve it to us."

Everyone nods and the two condemned walk to the kitchen before taking out of the fridge my half-eaten birthday cake from last night. They cut eight pieces out of it and put each piece on a plate with a spoon.

They distribute to us our pieces and they sit down with their pieces before V turns on the tv and puts on Run BTS. We watch it for awhile and I realize that I'm starting to fall asleep so I decide to go to bed.

I get and walk to the staircase while saying to the boys "Imma go to bed. Goodnight, guys!" They says goodnight back and I go up the stairs before getting in my room and changing into pjs:

I enter my bathroom and brush my teeth before taking off the makeup I got put on for the interview. I walk back in my room and put my phone on my nightstand before getting under the covers of the bed and quickly falling asleep.
