"Erika, what's my schedule for today?" I asked my secretary after signing some papers on the table.

"Miss, you have a meeting with Mr. Sebastian later at Muntalban's Restaurant, it's ten am. After that, eleven thirty am we will going to the factory for your monthly inspection. Two pm is for your daughter, miss."

"Is that all for today?" I asked her and put the ballpen on the table.

"Yes, miss." She smiled a little.

"Okay, get me some tea and after that go to the design team and tell them that I need their design on my table later at exactly twelve noon."

"Okay, miss." She said politely and headed towards the door.

Makalipas ang ilang minuto ay nagulat ako sa biglaang pagtunog ng aking telepono.

Sa telepono, may tumatawag. Ang telepono, sagutin natin! sa telepono, may tumatawag!

I lifted my brow when I heard my ringtone. How did it happened? My ringtone is a simple sound of the usual ringtone and not this. I looked at the screen and saw that manang Edna's calling. Kinabahan naman ako agad dahil ibinilin ko kay manang na sa oras ng trabaho ko ay pupwede lamang siyang tumawag kapag ito ay importante at patungkol kay Amirn.

"Yes, manang? How are you and amirn? Is everything okay?" 

Narinig ko ang paghagikhik ni Amirn sa kabilang linya.

"Mommy! It's Amirn Grace! Yipie! Issa prank mommy! I used lola Edna's phone to call you!" Tiling ani Amirn

Napabuntong hininga naman ako dahil akala ko kung ano na ang nangyari sa kan'ya.

"Honey, why did you call? Your still on your school, right? Where's manang Edna?"

"My, recess na po namin. Kinulit ko po si lola Edna po na I want to use her phone to call you. Issa prank yun, mommy! Did I surprise you?!"

I can hear the happiness on her voice. Tuwang tuwa siya at napapayag niyang mahiram ang telepono ni manang Edna. Amirn talaga, oo.

"My, miss ka na po ni Amirn Grace mo. Bakit po kasi need ko mag-school? 'Di ba po rich na tayo?"

By the sound of her voice I can say that she's pouting right now.

"Baby, we talk about it already 'di ba? You'll attend school to learn and to explore some things that even me can't teach you. Miss na rin naman ni mommy si Amirn Grace but studying is important too."

I explained while hearing her on the other line sighing.

Amirn Grace is lazy when it comes on schooling. She doesn't want to deal on numbers and books that much. Siguro ay namana niya sa kan'yang ama na hindi rin mahilig mag-aral.

"Baby Ami ko is that all? May aasikasuhin pa si mommy."

"My, sabi ni teacher kanina need ka raw po niyang makita bukas. Sabi ko I don't want kasi halata namang crush ka niya, mommy eh!"

Tumawa naman ako sa kan'yang tinuran. Napaka-selosa talaga ni Amirn at palagi akong pinagdadamot. Kung sana pati si Burn ay ipagdadamot din ako baka mas sumaya ako.

"Amirn, that's bad! Bakit ako kailangang makipagkita sa teacher mo bukas? May ginawa ka ba?"

"My! I am your daughter! Bakit mo po niiisip na I did something wrong?! Mr. Vulkiz wants to meet you because I won an award for being the 1st placer yesterday on our poster making! You should be proud of me!"
