Tysm everyone for the support, I was going to re read this earlier today to check for errors + my own entertainment bc I love myself but then found myself applying for the wattys?? I didn't even realise it was eligible ( thought I published it jn 2019 but clearly not oops)

Anyways if ur reading this far lmk of the plot summary I wrote:

Y/n doesn't give many shit's. She'll do what she wants, and who she wants. Though, if it's for Cadenza, the Lord of her village, she would do anything. They're best friends, after all... and it's her job as a guard.
The story is written in her pov, since it's you.

Cadenza is a fiery girl with an obssession with fashion and a knack for making her own clothes. As the Lord, she has a duty to the village to help regain what was lost after her father's death.

Laurance, Cadenza's step brother, is notoriously a Casanova. Though y/n's first thoughts were that he was a prude for calling her disgusting after hitting on him. He's also extremely confusing in ways it's difficult to explain in under 750 words. I guess that means you'll just have to read, thanks:).

No one else needs explaining. To y/n, if you don't talk to her on a regular basis, you are not worth remembering. Everyone has their ups and downs: falling in love, dying, being forced to join some strangers to see a world you don't know because your friend claims they're "fun", being kidnapped, dying, amnesia, meeting new people, meeting old people, going on boat rides and being swept away by the tide, accidentally kidnapping children, killing people, falling down cliffs, being accidentally stabbed in the shoulder by a fork, falling into ruins, not being able to eat your food because your fork is bloody, being able to read belts, having a lovely bath in a hot spring, reuniting with your supposed dead ex multiple times, losing your earring in a bush even though your ears aren't pierced, being cheated on, needing a therapy session with your sort of boyfriend and his sister.

In the end, all that matters is that you realise it be like that sometimes.
