"Sige po, Sir. Aalis na po kami," Lisa politely said. "I-se-send ko na lang po sainyo iyong file ngayong gabi through e-mail."

"No. That can wait tomorrow. Just take the time tonight and rest."

Lisa deserve the rest. She's been nothing but a good employee. Siya na ang pinakamatinong naging babaeng sekretarya ko. As boastful as it may seem but my former girl secretaries always end up falling in love with me. At mas inaakit pa ako imbes na magtrabaho.

I tried hiring male secretaries but I haven't found an efficient one. So I really appreciate Lisa.

"Okay po. Thank you. Mauna na ka-"

"Sir!"

We all turned to look at the woman running towards us. My forehead creased seeing her panicking. I feel like there's something wrong.

She looks so pale and it feels like she might collapse anytime soon. But she's still acting strong. Just how tough is she?

"Tapos na naman po ang trabaho ko kaya pwede po bang umalis na ako?"

My forehead creased even more. What could possibly happened that she's so adamant to leave even with her current condition? Not to mention that it's late.

I stood there, wordless and asking. But I wasn't able to voice out even one of my fucking questions. And when I finally managed to ask where she is going, she just fucking told me that she's going to work.

She's going to fucking work at fucking midnight! Just... how many works does she have in a day? How can she fucking manage that?

I know she's already tired from working in the office. Then she also worked here, serving guests and doing chores. And she's still going to work? With her fucking condition?!

Pero wala na akong nagawa pa para pigilan siya. I just stood there, watching her go.

"What are you two talking about?" I asked when they were so engaged in their conversation that they didn't even notice me coming in.

"Good morning, Sir."

I looked at her and noticed that she still looks pale. Her eyes shows tiredness and her lips lacks color. I can even clearly see the dark circles under her eyes even when I am far from her.

"Good morning, Sir. Si Mauve po kasi masyadong mataas ang lagnat. Mukhang kinakailangan niyang magpahinga. Hindi pa naman po iyan nakatulog at nakapagpahinga nang maayos."

"What time did you sleep?"

Iyon agad ang naisip ko nang maalalang nagpaalam pa siya para magtrabaho noong hatinggabi.

"Alas kwatro po."

Four fucking o'clock in the morning?! And she's already here working?

"What time did you wake up?"

"Alas syete po," she mumbled, not looking at me.

"What the fuck?! Are you insane?! Who in this fucking world can rest with that so little time? Lisa, go and call a doctor. Confine her if must."

I don't really know if this woman is a human or a fucking robot. She got tired, yes. But she doesn't seem like it! Kahit na kitang-kita na, na pagod na pagod at hirap na hirap na siya ay sige pa rin ng sige.

She still tried to say no but I am the one who makes the final decision on my territory.

I saw here fighting the urge to sleep while she's sitting on the sofa inside my office. She's really so stubborn, huh? Pati antok kinakalaban.
