"But you turned her down. Would that make you feel banished when you go there again?" tanong ni West. "I feel bad for that Agnes."
"You can ask her out if you want, but she prefer girls." tugon ko. "I told her that we can be friends, she agreed."
Nagkataon na nakasalubong ko siya sa hallway papuntang classroom.
"Bakit hindi ka na lang mag-review sa classroom, baka maka-bunggo ka pa ng mga estudyante kapag pinagpatuloy mo 'yang pagbabasa habang naglalakad." wika ko sa kaniya.
Napansin ko kasing nakatutok talaga ang mga mata niya sa notebooks niya at ni minsan ay hindi siya nag-abalang tumingin sa nilalakaran.
"It's fine, I can multi-task." he insisted. "I can't afford to lose to East, and moreover, you know that mainit ang mata sa'kin ni Dela Cruz."
Maybe it's a good thing that the twins help each other to be motivated in studying in the form of competition, but maybe Miss Second doesn't like how it's going since every quarter, the school releases the overall ranks of students in each particular grade level.

"Don't you find it weird na kapag binaliktad mo yung salitang 'lived', makukuha mo yung salitang 'devil'?"

"I don't see the need to give surprises. It's like looking for the essence of why they put another letter 's' on the word 'kiss', 'bliss', 'diss' and etcetera."
"I don't think etcetera has double 's' on it."
