"Something's wrong with this school today."

I shooked my head. "I don't think so. It feels peaceful today."

She looked at me with her widened eyes. "That's what feels wrong in this school. It's too peaceful that it gives me goosebumps."

"So, what are you trying to imply?" tanong ko habang hinahalungkat sa bag ko ang aking ID.

Sabay naming inabot sa guard ang aming ID and when he showed us a thumbs up, dumiretso kami agad sa cafeteria since sobrang aga naming pumasok.

Classes usually start by 8AM, but we're already here by 7:30AM. I haven't eaten anything though my mother insists that I should at least eat a spoonful.

There's an instance wherein magsha-shower na lang ako in just ten minutes na soon is nagiging twenty because I suddenly engaged myself in an imaginary debate against myself about the things that I should've said in a conversation that took place three years ago.

"What I'm trying to imply here is that I don't see that bulldog anywhere." aniya at ibinaba ang bag sa katabing upuan upang i-reserve ang mga iyon para kina Tohru at Andrew.

"Bulldog?" tanong ko.

It's not new for Wendy to give other people nicknames. It's just that I don't know who she's talking about whenever she's using the names she came up with to refer to others.

I really feel guilty about what happened to him, maybe I should pay him a visit some time.

"It's weird to see no one having a black eye today."

I felt bad for letting out a chuckle with her retort. She got some sharp observation skills if she even noticed the smallest detail of change in this school.

"Yo!"

Nahinto kami sa pag-uusap nang dumating bigla si Tohru, making a rotated peace sign beside his right eye that makes a good entrance.

I immediately adjusted my bag that is placed in the chair by my side. I gestured him to sit on it. He willingly did.

How I wish I have that same level of confidence in public.

Well, if he's the one who does that, he really looks cute.

The squad knows that there's a reason why Tohru pulls a mirror and make poses on it out of nowhere. That's because maybe someone in the school called him names again, the type of name he despised hearing.
