"Jimin." Namjoon breathed out, loud enough for the latter to hear.

"Oh my god, Namjoon!" Jimin exclaimed while whipping around.

"How have you been?" Namjoon asked, tears welling in his eyes.

"I've been- Joon don't cry. You're gonna make me cry." Jimin said, pulling his hyung into a hug.

"I'm sorry it's just been so long." he sniffled, hugging the latter tighter.

"Joon, I'm not going anywhere." Jimin replied, pouting when he felt tears trickling down his face.

"You dyed your hair." Namjoon observed.

"Yeah the pink was Tete's idea and it made me think of him too much. So I went full one-eighty, black." Jimin laughed sadly, running his hands through his hair, when he heard a small cough from beside him. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry, you were obviously on a date."

"Oh, oh my god, Matthew." Namjoon realized with wide eyes, making his date laugh.

"Oh my god, youre Kim Matthew." Jimin observed, stepping back to bow at the elder.

"That I am." Matthew laughs. "And you're the infamous Park Jimin."

"Thats me." Jimin chuckled. "Although I'm wondering how you know my name."

"You've danced for Taehyung since he debuted, and I've seen you when I was hanging with Taehyung a few times. You don't remember me?" Matthew explained.

"Hmm, I guess not. I'll definitely remember this time though." Jimin assured.

Matthew chuckled, "I'll make sure to remember our meeting too... Mostly because you just unintentionally crashed my date."

"Oh, yeah." Jimin chuckled, rubbing the nape of this neck embarrassedly. "Sorry for interrupting."

Jimin gave the two one last smile before continuing on his way towards the exit. Namjoon released a deep sigh as he watched Jimin leave. His emotions were all over the place, and he had no idea where to even begin to sort through them all.

"You look a little... Ugh, I don't know the word in korean." BM said unsurely.

"Then use english."

"You look like you're in distress." Matthew quickly spoke.

"I guess you could say I am." Namjoon agreed.

"And why is that?" Matthew asked, pushing his empty plate to the side.

"Jimin. It's been awhile since I've seen him and I'm not sure what to feel. I used to see him nearly everyday, so when he left I missed him. It's just hard to explain..." Namjoon responded, still trying to work things out in his head.

"Then take all the time you need to figure it out."

"Jimin is Taehyung's ex. They were together for years. Six, maybe. According to Taehyung, Jimin stopped putting forth effort in their relationship. He doesn't like to talk about it much, but I have gotten some stuff out of him. Jimin stopped answering his texts, barely paid him any attention when they were together, almost never wanted to do anything with just the two of them. Taehyung tried to bring it up but Jimin always changed the subject or denied that he had changed. Understandably so, Taehyung lost feelings. He would have broken up with Jimin sooner, but things had gotten so bad that there was no other time. He just had to wait until Jimin seemed to be in a good mood and take him on a date so he could do it. I know all of that isn't my problem, but after I found all of that out it made me see Jimin a bit differently. I always assumed everything was great between the two but looking back, Taehyung did seem a little different. It makes me sad to realize he was actually silently suffering and no one realized and the person who was supposed to help him was the cause of it." Namjoon soberly explained.

"Well now I don't like him." Matthew muttered, a look of annoyance on his face. "That's just fucked up. You shouldn't do that to someone, especially someone who you are supposed to love and care about."

Namjoon chuckled as he relaxed in his seat. "That's how I feel, but I don't want to be the cause of any drama. I just want to stay as neutral towards him as possible and keep living my life."

"That's completely understandable. I would do the exact same thing if I was you." BM agreed as their waiter set the check down on the table.

Both men reached for the check, but Matthew was faster. He ignored Namjoon's complaints and glares as he looked at the check to make sure everything on it was correct. He put his card in and set it down next to him. The waiter quickly returned to take the check, and BM finally looked at Namjoon as he glared at him.

"I could have paid for myself." Namjoon grumbled.

"But where would the fun in that be?" Matthew teased with a small smile.

Namjoon rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile at the elder's teasing. He hated to admit that he actually enjoyed the date that Taehyung set him up on. Oddly enough, the huge amount of anxiety he usually felt about the idea of doing anything even remotely romantic. Something about the elder, despite looking intimidating, was oddly comforting and relaxing. Namjoon wasn't sure where things would end up going with BM, but he definitely enjoyed the time out he spent with him that night.

The two sat in a comfortable silence as they waited for their waiter to return so BM could get his card back and the two could leave. When the waiter returned, BM took his card and put it back in his wallet. The two stood up and started walking towards the exit. They knew their cars were parked near each other, so they started walking towards them.

When Namjoon started to stray from the path BM was taking, the elder followed behind. When they reached Namjoon's car, both men stopped and looked at each other for a few seconds.

"I had a lot of fun with you." Namjoon quietly admitted.

"Me too. Can we do this again sometime?" BM coyly asked, unsure of what Namjoon' answer would be.

"Yeah, I'd enjoy that. Text me whenever you want to do something." Namjoon happily said, his dimples showing as he smiled at BM.

"Oh, cool! I'll text you later, then."

BM and Namjoon both went in for a hug, the two holding the embrace for a couple seconds before letting go. BM stepped back as Namjoon got into his car, heading a couple parking spots down to his own car as Namjoon left the restaurant.
