62::Back to the new normal

Jungkook and Taehyung walked out of the closet to see a flash of bright pink hair whip around the corner towards Kai's room.

"Yeonjun?" Jungkook called.

"Hyung? Is Kai okay?"

"He's stable. But what are you doing here, did Kai call you?"

"He texted me."

"Oh, we'll be out here."

Yeonjun nodded, blushing.

"Who's that?" Taehyung asked, tilting his head to the side.

"Basically Kai's boyfriend, but they're 'just best friends.' They're parents were friends and Yeonjun was one of the first to find out he has leukemia." Jungkook sighed.

"Taehyung, Jungkook! I got here as fast as I could. Is Kai okay?" Namjoon asked.

"Hyung, thank you for coming." Jungkook chuckled while taking in Namjoon's Anpanman hoodie.

"Kai's stable." Taehyung replied laughing as well.

"Why are you laughing? I had to leave a movie night for this." Namjoon pouted.

"Oh, I forgot. How's Matthew?" Taehyung asked.

"It wasn't with Matthew." Namjoon blushed as Taehyung's phone rang.

"Alright... go to the front desk and ask for Huening Kai's room. We are in the hallway... Cause we want to be... No, Kai is talking to his friend... Yeah we'll go in once the doctor goes in... Just get up here hyung." Taehyung sighed, rolling his eyes and hanging up.

Jungkook looked down the hall for what felt like the hundredth time to see Hoseok and Yoongi approaching.

"They're coming." Jungkook mumbled

"Finally." Taehyung chuckled

"Hey guys. Oh, Namjoon, I didn't know you'd be here." Hoseok observed before laughing, making the latter groan.

"So when can we go in?" Yoongi impatiently asked.

Jungkook cautiously walked to the door and slowly opened it, peeking his head in to see Yeonjun sitting cross legged at the bottom of Kai's bed.

"Hi, hyung!" Yeonjun happily said as Jungkook came into the room.

Yeonjun's eyes widened as Taehyung followed behind Jungkook, his jaw nearly touching the floor. It's nothing short of a miracle that he didn't pass out as Hoseok, Namjoon, and Yoongi filed in.

"Yeonjunie!" Kai yelled, snapping him out of his trance.

"You.. But... Famous... What!?" Yeonjun gaped.

"Jungkook works at Jinhit as Taehyung's lead backup dancer." Kai nonchalantly stated.

Yeonjun continued to stare at the group in disbelief as they all made themselves comfortable in Kai's room. Since Kai's room was not only private but also used often, the room was quite personalized. A small couch was placed against the wall opposite the bed and two chairs were inside of the room. Hoseok sat down on one of the chairs with Yoongi finding his place on the younger's lap.

Namjoon took a look at Taehyung, then Jungkook, then the remaining seats. He quickly headed towards the couch, sitting down on the right side of it. Jungkook followed Namjoon towards the couch and sat down on the left side. Taehyung, shocking everyone but Jungkook, also walked towards the couch. Everyone in the room, still excluding Jungkook and Taehyung, seemed to hold their breath as they watched Taehyung get closer to Jungkook.
