"I said never apologize for how you feel. No one can control how they feel. The sun doesn't apologize for being the sun. The rain doesn't say sorry for falling. Feelings just are."

-Iain S. Thomas

Jungkook woke up the next morning to his alarm blaring in his ear. He turned it off and almost went back to sleep after seeing it was 6:00 am, but suddenly remembered what today was and sat up straight. He got out of bed and went straight to the shower, quickly washing his body and trying to rid himself of his nerves. After showering, he got dressed in a grey over sized hoodie, black ripped jeans, his silver glasses, blak mask, and white vans.

After looking in the mirror he decided to check his bags one more time, making sure he had his laptop and charger for everything. He checked the time seeing it was only 6:30 he made a note for Kai and then left his apartment.

Deciding he didn't want to walk to Jinhit with two suitcases and a backpack, he pulled his phone out to call an uber, stopping short when he saw a familiar car pull into the parking lot of the apartment complex. No matter how much his brain told him to, he couldn't stop staring at the car in a mix of dread, nerves, and excitement. His already mixed emotions became a scrambled mess when the car stopped in front of him, Taehyung stepping out and shooting Jungkook a smile before grabbing one of the suitcases.

"W-what are you doing here?" Jungkook finally asked, mentally kicking himself for stuttering.

"I don't care what you have to say about it, I'm not letting you walk to work today." Taehyung responded, only slightly answering Jungkook's question,

"I wasn't going to, I was in the process of calling an uber." Jungkook retorted a bit rudely.

"Well too late, I'm already here." Taehyung countered with a smirk before shoving Jungkook into his car.

"This could be considered kidnapping." Jungkook shouted, Taehyung rolling his eyes at the boy's joke, not realizing Jungkook was actually quite unhappy in the current situation.

"Look at that. This time I am kidnapping you." Taehyung joked as he got into the driver's seat, not noticing Jungkook's small sigh and furrowed eyebrows.

Taehyung pulled away from Jungkook's apartment building, the car silent like it was many times, but this silence was excruciating for both men, both knowing what they wanted to say to the other but neither having the guts to say it. They both assumed the other didn't like them, and they feared getting rejected.

Jungkook was the last one to step onto the plane. He marveled as he looked around, it was nicer than anything he had ever seen before. He felt out of place as he walked down the aisle, trying to find an empty seat. He let out a deep sigh when he found one, but his relief quickly turned into horror when he saw who else was there. It was just his luck that he'd have to sit with Taehyung.

"Are you going to sit?" Taehyung asked, snapping Jungkook out of whatever trance he had been in.

Jungkook ignored the question, sitting down silently and quickly pulling his phone and earbuds out of his backpack, plugging the earbuds in and hurriedly shoving them in his ears, turning the volume almost all the way up and pressing shuffle on his entire library. He didn't even care when a song by the male he was currently ignoring started playing.

As he listened to Taehyung's soothing voice through his earbuds, he felt all of the adrenaline he had earlier slipping away, making him fall asleep, his head falling onto Taehyung's shoulder.

Taehyung, startled at the sudden action, silently gushed at how cute the younger male was as he was sleeping. He looked so cute and peaceful, the older male didn't realize that he was moving his hand to brush a piece of hair out of the sleeping male's face until after he had already done it. He was taken aback as he brought his hand back down to his lap, but the feeling was overridden by the happiness he felt as he watched Jungkook sleep. For the first time since they kissed, everything seemed normal between the two.

Taehyung was so entranced, he didn't notice when he started to feel tired and eventually fell asleep, his head rolling onto Jungkook's as he slept with the younger. The two slept peacefully for hours, and despite the flight being 14 long hours, Taehyung slept through half of the flight, and butterflies went off through his whole body when he saw the position the two were in. Jungkook's head was still resting on his shoulder and Taehyung's head was resting on Jungkook's, his arm also draped over Jungkook's stomach.

Taehyung, carefully removing Jungkook's head from his shoulder, got out of the seat and walked down the aisle of the plane in search of food. He grabbed a few small snacks, most of which being bags of chips and a few chocolate bars, and hurried back to his seat to find a groggy looking Jungkook.

"Hey man, want some chips?" Taehyung asked when he saw Jungkook's eyes open.

"No." Jungkook replied as he looked around him.

"Okay then, i have some chocolate too." Taehyung said warily.

Jungkook sat silently in his seat, debating whether or not he should accept the offer, but deciding not to a few seconds later.

Taehyung shrugged, getting back in his seat and opening one of the bags of chips. As he popped one in his mouth, he heard the loud and unmistakable sound of Jungkook's stomach growling. Taehyung bit back a chuckle and shoved a bag of chips in Jungkook's hand, the younger shocked at the action but not arguing, silently opening the bag and shoving a chip in his mouth.

Jungkook barely finished his chips before dozing off again, his head falling back onto Taehyung's shoulder after a few minutes. Taehyung softly smiled at Jungkook's sleeping figure, a bit of sadness overcoming him as he remembered that nothing would ever happen between the two of them.

"Sleep well, Koo." Taehyung mumbled to Jungkook's sleeping figure, a small smile on his face as he did so.

He quickly finished his bag of chips and a chocolate bar, deciding to play on his phone until they landed. When Taehyung noticed they were getting ready to land, he lightly shook Jungkook to wake him up.

"Hey, we're gonna land in a few minutes you're gonna need to buckle up and turn your phone off." Taehyung instructed as Jungkook looked at him, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

"Okay," Jungkook responded, pulling his earbuds out of his ear and turning his phone off. "Thank you Tae."

"Anytime." Taehyung said, smiling at the younger and turning his phone off as well.
