"Stop being a big baby. You'll be home in like, a week." Kai teased, playfully shoving his older cousin.

"That doesn't mean I'm not allowed to miss you for the next week!" Jungkook defensively exclaimed.

Kai simply smiled at his cousin, standing there for a few seconds before Jungkook pulled Kai into a huge hug.

"I'm happy you came." Jungkook mumbled into the hug.

"Me too." Kai responded, shrinking further into his cousin's embrace and sighing.

"And you called me a big baby." Jungkook joked.

"What can I say? I'm secretly a sap." Kai shrugged, the cousins finally breaking out of their embrace.

"I'll see you soon, bud." Jungkook spoke sadly.

"Bye, Jungkookie." Kai replied, smiling at his cousin before turning around and walking through the gates to get on the plane.

Jungkook quickly walked back to the car Taehyung was waiting for him in. Taehyung noticed the sad expression of Jungkook's face and gave the younger a soft smile.

"We have just over a week left of the tour. After that, we'll be back home and you'll get to see him everyday." Taehyung consoled, grabbing the younger's hand with one of his own while he pulled away from the airport using his other hand.

"Did you like Kai?" Jungkook asked, squeezing Taehyung's slightly bigger hand in his own.

"Yeah! He's a really good kid. And it seems like he looks up to you a lot." Taehyung answered quickly.

"I'm glad you like him. He's the only thing in my life that's more important than you and my job." Jungkook said in a joking tone despite being completely serious.

"So, am I above or below work on your list?" Taehyung queried.

"Well, my job is the reason why we met. But, I think I would still put you above it." Jungkook concluded with a small smile on his face as he looked at Taehyung's stunning side profile.

"I will happily take that place." Taehyung spoke, looking at Jungkook for a split second before turning his attention back to the road.

"I seriously am glad you like him. That boy is the little brother I don't have. Words don't explain how much he means to me. And I appreciate the fact that you not only brought him out here, but also took so much time to talk to him and get to know him." Jungkook rejoined, a small pout on his face as he continued to intently stare at Taehyung's side profile.

Taehyung didn't verbally respond, only giving Jungkook's hand a light squeeze as he continued to drive. When Taehyung had to stop at a stoplight, he quickly leaned over and pressed a loving kiss to Jungkook's lips.

"I know how much Kai means to you. I wanted him to be here with the rest of us on your birthday and I wanted to make him feel welcomed. You know I would do anything to see you smile." Taehyung mumbled, pressing another kiss to Jungkook's nose before looking back at the road to make sure the light was still red.

Jungkook smiled at Taehyung, an indescribable feeling overcoming him. He felt so lucky to have Taehyung as a boyfriend, and the rest of Taehyung's closest staff members as friends. He didn't know what he did to deserve such kindness and love, but he wasn't complaining. Jungkook couldn't think of a way to show Taehyung how much he loved and appreciated him. No idea he had seemed good enough.

And then, for some reason, he suddenly had what he felt like would be the perfect idea.

"You want me to help you with what now?" Yoongi asked in slight bewilderment.

"I didn't stutter, did I?" Jungkook fired back, needing the elder male to stay focused and agree to the idea he had just proposed.

"Jungkook, if this is about the other day when we were all teasing you-" Yoongi started, shocked by the younger's request and not completely sure how to respond.

"It doesn't have to do with that. But after that conversation I did some thinking and realized I'm ready for that. And I figured, what would be a better time to do it then tomorrow?" Jungkook explained, desperately wanting someone's help with enacting his plan but not wanting to go to either of the other hyungs.

"Fine. Just tell me what you need me to do." Yoongi agreed with a sigh.

"Oh my god! Thank you, Hyung! I need you to get rose petals and a bouquet of red roses. A few scented candles and fairy lights. You know what, I'll just write you a list." Jungkook ratted off enthusiastically.

"Just get that list to me by tomorrow. Preferably before we have to go to the venue." Yoongi instructed the younger, getting a fervent head nod as a response.

Jungkook said a quick goodbye to Yoongi before he hurried out of the elder's room and back into his own. He started writing out his list for Yoongi, starting off with the things he had already told the elder and continuing to have idea after idea for more things he wanted.

"Bun, I got you your favorite." Taehyung called as he closed the hotel room door, after not receiving a response he quickly set the food down walking into the main space of the hotel room, seeing Jungkook passed out on their bed. "Aww."

He decided to let the exhausted boy sleep and started putting the items he bought away with the rest of his things. After he finished that he decided to work on a new song. Before long he felt a pair of arms wrap around his torso, he hummed to the touch he knew so well.

"Whatcha' doin'?" Jungkook asked sleepily.

"I'm just writing a new song." Taehyung replied with a yawn before putting his notebook away and grabbing the takeout boxes from in front of him, smiling at his boyfriend. "This one's mine, and this one is yours"

"Oh, my favorite, thank you bear." Jungkook said, kissing Taehyung's neck lightly and walking around the table to sit across from him.

"You are very welcome." Taehyung replied, finally digging into the food he had bought.

The couple ate quickly and quietly, both tired and longing for sleep. Wordlessly, Taehyung threw away the empty takeout boxes when they had both finished their food. Jungkook and Taehyung both made their way towards their bed, climbing under the covers and Taehyung pulling Jungkook's back into his chest. No words were exchanged between the two before they both fell into a deep sleep.

Sorry for the late post, author-nim #1 and #2 were both busy yesterday. 

Ahh just a filler. Yall aint ready for the next chapter tho. Its gonna be so fucking W I L D that we cant even process. But for now you just get some soft cute pure and wholesome taekook bc why tf not?
