10:: Challenges

"Nah fuck that, we can test Mr. lead." Jihoon said smugly.

"And what we aren't gonna do is act like we are better than Jungkook because we've been at the company longer." Hoseok warned.

"It's okay Hobi hyung. If they wanna see why I got picked for lead when I wasn't even in the company that long they can," Jungkook said shrugging, then looking at the other dancers. "Or I mean they can just see why you thought I was better than them."

"I- well I mean they started it." Hoseok said going to the side of the room. "The game is called copycat. The other dancers do a dancer from one of the old songs, they can pick, just tell me the name. Do the dance, Jungkook will observe and follow."

"I can confirm that I have never danced to any of the songs other than singularity. I swear on my job." Jungkook said a glint in his eye.

"The goal is for you guys to catch Jungkook slipping on any of the songs." Hoseok stated.

"Easy." Jihoon said, smirking.

"Well I wouldn't be so sure..." Taehyung muttered under his breath.

"Hmm?" Jihoon was confused.

"Oh, nothing." Taehyung smiled at him.

The latter shrugged and asked the group which song they wanted, arguing a bit but finally deciding quietly on one. He then whispered his choice to Hoseok.

Scenery started playing seconds later. The group started dancing quickly, thinking Jungkook wouldn't be able to keep up. But the boy was observing the choreography quietly, clapping when they finished.

The group sat down against the wall smugly. Jungkook moved to the middle of the room and looked at Hoseok once he was in the starting position the group started the song.

Raising his right hand he started dancing. His legs moved quickly as he executed every move with ease. Jungkooks body swayed with the melody, as his hands moved around. Stopping with his hand on his thigh, legs spread, breathing heavily. The music stopped, leaving him out of breath and smiling brightly.

"How the- what the hell-" Irritated. Jihoon is beyond irritated, pushing himself up from the wall he was leaning on and glaring at Jungkook. "You knew the dance already! You fucking liar!"

"It's called paying attention. It wouldn't take you guys as long to learn dances if you would just pay more attention." Jungkook stated, looking at all the dancers that sat against the wall. "Are you satisfied?"

"Yes, yes we are. No need to challenge your skills anymore." Mark states, rolling his eyes. "He didn't mean to make you mad."

"Oh, he didn't. I was already mad. Don't worry about it." Jungkook said glancing at Taehyung, then at Hoseok.

"Alright, now that you guys know why I choose Jungkook for lead let's begin." Hoseok declared, making his way to the middle of the floor. He stood there waiting for all the dancers to get up. But they never did. "Well, what are you doing just sitting there!"

Quickly, they got up on their feet and made their way to the dance floor. Once everyone was standing around Hoseok made his way to the speaker. "Get in your position for Winter Bear."

They all shuffled around, finding their places and getting in the starting position. Jungkook just stood there, not having a clue how the dance goes. "You can just watch the first time."

"Okay." Jungkook responded while making eye contact with Hoseok. He slowly made his way to the back of the room and slid his back down the wall, ready to watch the dance.

Everyone sat on the floor, with one leg resting on the floor and the other propped up by their foot. Making a straight line, about two feet apart from each person. Taehyung sat in the middle, making him stand out.

The music started and as soon as the first beat hit they all hit their propped up foot on the ground, making it match up with the beat. When the second beat hit they shot their heads up and smacked their hands to the floor, again, matching the beat. On the third beat they shot up from the ground, all standing. They spun their hands around their chests as their feet softly taped the floor.

Jungkook sat there focusing on each and every move. Like an animal watching its prey's every move. He studied the way their bodies made sharp movements when the song started to pick up, and how their movements got softer at the slow parts.

Soon enough the song was over, ending with all of them in the same position as they started in, breathing heavily. "Alright Jungkook, you're joining us this time."

Standing back up he stretched his back and made his way over. Sitting down on the very left, he waited for the music to start playing.

Soon the first beat hit and Jungkook just went for it. Giving his all he executed the moves, making them look easy. The other dancers also gave their whole soul into the dance, trying to make themselves look better than Jungkook.

Key word, trying.

So now they know that Jungkooks doesn't just mess around and say he's better than everyone.
