"I'm a hopeless romantic, and very much the person in a relationship to go: If things are going well, I'll buy flowers, remember the dates of things, plan fun nights out."

Taehyung stood there, facing Jungkook, nervously playing with a ring on his right hand. He was wearing a black turtleneck paired with jeans that matched his jean jacket. He wore a pair of fake round glasses and his hair was messy, but done that way obviously and looked cute on him. To finish off the look he was wearing small and simple silver hoop earrings and black high top converse. Basically, Taehyung looked amazing. And as soon as said male saw Jungkook, his eyes lit up and a huge smile took over his face.
"Koo!" Taehyung exclaimed, surveying Jungkook head to toe even though he saw Jungkook in the morning. He was wearing Taehyung's black t-shirt that said Against in red writing, a pair of black ripped jeans and his white vans also on, his now completely dry hair looking soft and fluffy.
"What's going on, Hyungie?" Jungkook questioned cutely, Taehyung inwardly cooing at the new nickname Jungkook had just given him.
"I told you that you wouldn't have to wait too long." Taehyung replied gently, walking closer to Jungkook and grabbing his hand, pulling him away from the path.
"Wait, what?" Jungkook questioned, coming to a quick realization as to what was about to happen.
"You might have just come into my life, but you already mean so much to me. You're so precious and being with me will be really difficult since the public can't know, but if you're willing to try it then so am I." Taehyung remarked, a small smile on his face the entire time he spoke, never tearing his eyes away from the younger male he was head over heels for.
"Just ask already." Jungkook whined, Taehyung's smile becoming even bigger at the male's cuteness.
"Koo, will you be my boyfriend?" Taehyung asked, voice barely above a whisper but clearly laced in lots of emotion and care.
"Of course I will." Jungkook responded in the same tone Taehyung had asked the question in.
A huge smile spread across Taehyung's face and he started to lean in, Jungkook meeting him in the middle and their lips clashing in a hungry but passionate kiss. The two shared their moment, neither of them wanting things to escalate but both wanting to savor their first kiss as boyfriends.
When they finally separated, both men were slightly out of breath but completely overjoyed. The two could do nothing but smile at each other. Taehyung brought his hand up to Jungkook's hair, shifting some of it out of the younger's face. He almost didn't pull his hand away, Jungkook's hair feeling even fluffier that it looked, but he did.
"I brought stuff for a picnic." Taehyung admitted with a slight blush dusting his cheeks, Jungkook inwardly cooing at Taehyung's sudden shyness.
Taehyung took Jungkook's hand in his own and started leading him further away from the path. Taehyung led Jungkook around a small turn, and there was a small but cute picnic set up. There was the traditional red and white picnic blanket with a medium sized basket placed on it. As Jungkook got closer he saw that there were American foods, all of which looked good.
"I made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and there's also pasta salad and watermelon. And Hoseok hyung said I should bring Sprite, so I did." Taehyung quickly explained, pointing to each item as he talked about it.
"I don't know what some of that stuff is." Jungkook admitted quietly, shuffling his feet on the ground in a slightly awkward manner.
"It's okay, I don't either. I looked up American picnic foods." Taehyung proclaimed with a chuckle, this statement immediately easing Jungkook's nerves. Taehyung saw this and couldn't help the fond smile that grew on his face.
Jungkook allowed Taehyung to pull him onto the blanket, the new couple sitting down with a small thud in their haste. Taehyung quickly handed Jungkook one of the sandwiches, the younger tearing into the bag like he had never seen food before in his life.
"Ggukie, slow down." Taehyung urged, laughing as Jungkook shoved a huge bite of food into his mouth.
"I wanted to try it." Jungkook replied sheepishly through a mouthful of food, a small blush on his face from embarrassment.
"You can try it without shoving the whole thing in your mouth." Taehyung said laughing at the younger.
"I know... but it smelled good." Jungkook replied sheepishly.
"It's okay, just eat. But don't eat so fast you choke, I still have stuff planned before we have to go in 2 hours." Taehyung instructed, picking up his sandwich and taking a bite of it when he had finished speaking.
"Okay," Jungkook agreed, putting his half eaten sandwich down to get some pasta salad, tasting the new food item. "Mm this is really good!!"
"Really?! I haven't tried it yet." Taehyung uttered, lifting his fork full of noodles to his mouth rather quickly. "Mm it is, we'll have to find a recipe."
They quickly ate their food, Taehyung urging them to get to the second destination with lots of time left before they had to perform. Once they finished eating, they cleaned everything up, quickly folding the small blanket and putting it back in the basket.
Taehyung led Jungkook back down the path he had come up, the same car that had been carrying Jungkook around Hollywood all day was waiting for the men. Jungkook couldn't help the small giggle that escaped him as Taehyung held his hand while they entered the vehicle.
"You're so cute, Koo." Taehyung gushed when he heard the sound of Jungkook's giggles, starting to rub circles on the younger male's hand with his thumb.
Jungkook responded with an eye roll, but squeezed the elder's hand with a small smile on his face anyways.
The car started moving as soon as the two men had buckled their seat belts. Taehyung had removed his hand from Jungkook's when he buckled his seatbelt, and when he didn't grab Jungkook's hand after he finished, Jungkook did with a small pout. Taehyung couldn't help the fond smile that grew on his face as he watched the younger look out the window, the ghost of a pout on his face.
Taehyung lifted his and Jungkook's hands, placing a kiss on the back of Jungkook's hand, causing the younger to shoot his head in Taehyung's direction. Taehyung gave Jungkook a small smile before he let their hands drop down to the seat. Before Jungkook could process what was happening, Taehyung had pressed his lips against his in a quick but sweet kiss.
Taehyung pulled away and looked out the window, leaving a blushing Jungkook to be embarrassed about not kissing him back right away.
They sat in silence for a bit just looking at the scenery they passed on the way to their next location. Loving the beautiful art that was tattooed on the walls of buildings and the sidewalk. Being mesmerized by the giant flowers made out of recycled street signs.

MOVE B*TCH GET OUT THE WAY- i'm just kidding- i really liked this chapter though. it was just so soft.
Also, the giant flowers are from a place that one of the authors live at and they are really cool, the college students from the area did it in 2008.
