"The body shuts down when it has too much to bear; goes its own way quietly inside, waiting for a better time, leaving you numb and half alive."

Two people Jungkook recognized as girls on the hair and makeup team came into the room, setting their stuff down and looking at Jungkook. They had both been told at least a little bit of what had happened because the first thing they did was look at Jungkook's marked cheek.

The older looking girl stepped forward, giving Jungkook a small smile as she did so.

"Do you mind if I touch it?" she asked nicely, Jungkook knowing exactly what she was talking about.

"Go ahead." he murmured, the woman keeping the smile on her face and lightly touching the mark. A bit of discomfort flashed across Jungkook's face as she lightly ran her fingers over his cheek and hummed to herself. She then grabbed a blending brush, a beauty blender, foundation, and concealer out of one of her two bags and faced him again. "This is going to hurt a bit, okay?"

From his spot a few feet away, Taehyung heard what the woman said, opening his eyes and paying close attention to what was happening to his boyfriend.

The woman squeezed a bit of foundation onto the back of her hand, using the beauty blender to pick it up and lightly dabbed some of it on Jungkook's face. Jungkook again felt a bit uncomfortable, but otherwise just fine. Then, she took the blending brush and started smearing the foundation on his cheek, Jungkook wincing and hissing at the pain it caused him.

Taehyung gripped the arm of his chair tightly, wanting to rush over and shower his boyfriend in kisses but not being able to because not only was he also getting his hair and makeup done, but there were too many people around who didn't know of what was going on between the two. So instead he sat in his chair, gripping the arm, hoping Jungkook would open his eyes and see Taehyung staring at him through the mirror.

A short five minutes later, the woman had worked magic. The only sign of something being off with Jungkook's face being the fact that if you looked closely enough, you could see one side was a bit puffy.

Jungkook let out a sigh of relief when the woman moved on to the rest of his face, the second person beginning to style his hair as he had foundation applied to the rest of his face.

A short thirty minutes later, Jungkook had foundation covering his whole face, a bit of lip gloss on, and light eyeshadow applied to his lids, giving him an all-natural look. He quickly slid into his first costume, the outfit being quite simple. He wore all black; a black button up shirt, black skinny jeans, all black converse, and a thin black choker, the only color being the deep blue harness he wore over his chest.

Taehyung also wore a black button up shirt, but he had a white harness over his own chest. He had a thick black choker on, the look complete with a pair of black ripped jeans and combat boots.

The staff had filed out of the room when Jungkook and Taehyung needed to get dressed, so the two now had some time alone before they had to join everyone else.

"You look great." Taehyung complimented, not able to take his eyes off of Jungkook, especially the area the harness was.

"So do you." Jungkook replied, also not being able to tear his eyes away from his boyfriend, the elder looking stunning in the fairly simple yet captivating outfit.

"Is it bad I'm thinking about all the ways I would want to use that harness on you?" Taehyung questioned, finally tearing his eyes away from Jungkook's chest and meeting the younger's gaze.
