It's been months since Xiumin got back. No, he still hasn't walked, and yes, he's still frustrated.

"Damn it!" He growled.

"Calm down, Minsoek."I helped him up into his wheelchair.

"I'm never going to walk again." He grumbled.

"Don't give up, please don't give up..." I beg.

"Why not? Give me one reason I shouldn't stop trying."

"Exo." I say.

He looks down, that's when I know he's defeated.

"Give me another..." He says.

"Because I believe in you, and you would never let me down, Hyung."

"I can't do it Chen, I can't even walk three steps!"

"But you are walking! If you continue, within a month we could have you walking a mile! Don't give up, Minsoek, cause if you do, you'll regret that you did." I say in a last push.

"Fine, I'll keep trying." He stood, stumbling towards me.

I fell with him on top of me.

"I'll help you up..." I mumbled at his closeness, trying to get him off so I could stand.

But he held me there by my jacket. He looked frightened.

His face was so close to mine, I could- No! No no no no no! I can't kiss him, he's my friend!

"Chen?" Kai entered the room. "Oh, what happened."

"I fell, landing on poor Chen..." Minsoek said as Kai helped him up.

I was too shocked to say anything, I almost kissed my best friend/crush. What is wrong with me?!

Kai set him in his wheelchair.

"Can you work with Minnie? I gotta talk to D.O. real quick..."

"Of course!" Kai said.

I walk out of the room with a 'thank you'.

"D.O., I almost kissed him! What is wrong with me? Why, why am I acting like this? I need help..." I say.

"Tell him..."

"What?!"

"Tell Xiumin that you like him..." He smiled as he made lunch.

"And what good would that do?" I ask.

"Well you wouldn't have to hide it any more, and.... never mind, just tell him."

"You know something, what do you know? Why won't you tell me?"

"Go, go tell him..."

"You know I'm too chicken to... Can you tell him?"

"I'm kind of busy, and we aren't in preschool, Chen. Trust me, good may come of it."

"Fine..." I climbed the stairs to Minsoek's room. "Thanks Kai..." I stopped in my tracks as I saw Xiumin shirtless.

"Kai left. I'm going in for a bath." Xiumin said.

"Um, I... uh... do you... want me to...... ah, leave?" I look at his back, how his muscles rippled.

"I have to ask you something about that fall..." He turns to me.

"Um, yea, what do you wanna know?" I swallow.

"Were you about to kiss me?" He smirked.

"No! I wasn't going to kiss you!"

"That's a shame..." He said as he got a towel.

"W-what?" I stutter.

"I..... I like you, Chen... not like a brother, or a friend, not a simple thing like those... I like you like I want you..." He said, blushing.

"You, want me? I-I can't even..... what?!" I ask.

"Sorry..." Xiumin wheeled to the bathroom.

"Xiumin," I call. "I lied.... I was going to kiss you..." I admitted.

He turned in his wheelchair. "Why didn't you?" He smirked.

"I don't know, I was scared... Of rejection, hurt, or maybe you accepting me..."

"I wouldn't reject you, I would never hurt you, but I can't promise I won't accept you..." He laughed.

He wheeled over to me. "Sorry..." I said.

"Just get down here and kiss me." He demanded. And I did just that.

Two months later:

"Are we done?" Xiumin asked.

"No, you have to walk to me."

"Chen....."

"Walk," I demand.

"Fine..." He stood and walked slowly over to me, when her reached me, he pulled me into him and gave me a kiss. "Told you I'm good." He smirked.

"Now get ready for bed." I turned to leave.

"All alone?" He asked.

"Minsoek..." I mumbled. "Yes, all by yourself." I shook my head and left.
