Lay’s POV
We did some test at her and the result says one and we confirmed it.
“A-amnesia?” Tita Cathy asked, Laurence Mom. I just nod.
“But she can remember us.”
“But she can’t remember us.” Malungkot kong sabi.
“I may conclude that she… she remembers everything from her past but can’t remember what happened to her present when she’s with us.” Joke ba talaga ‘to? Nailigtas ko nga siya sa tiyak na kamatayan, binawi naman ang mga alaala niya. I thought she’ll say ‘just kidding’ afterwards and laugh but she didn’t. Tiningnan ko silang lahat at naghihintay sila ng sasabihin ko. Napahilamos ako sa mukha.
“The result says that your daughter Sir, has a little brain damage. Maybe when she fall and hit her head on the ground, it affects some part of her brain that stores a lot of memories. She could remember those people she was before but, I don’t know if she could remember us.”
“Oh God.”Tito Zhake muttered.
“One thing we can do now is wait and help her slowly get her memories back. Hindi natin pwedeng sapilitang ipilit dahil tuwing may maaalala siya, sasakit lang ang ulo niya and can see dark and blurred images. For now, let her rest.” This isn’t easy. Getting someone’s memories back is the hardest thing to do. It depends on the patient if she still wants to remember or doesn’t. She may get all her memories back or she’ll lose it… at all.
Suho’s POV
“Alis.”
“Pero di ka pa pwedeng bumangon sabi ni Lay.” Tinitigan niya ako ng masama.
“Move you sh’t.” Sumasakit ang puso ko sa mga tinuturan niya. Tumabi ako’t bumaba siya ng kama niya. Akma ko siyang hahawakan para sana alalayan siya pero tinabig niya ang kamay ko’t binigyan ako nang nakapanlilisik na mga tingin.
“Wag mo kong hahawakan.” She said coldly at kusang naglakad papunta sa banyo. Nakasunod lang ako para kung sakali, maalalayan ko siya.
Ako lang nagbabantay sa kanya ngayon dito sa hospital dahil day off ko. Pumasok yung iba samantalang sina Xiumin at Baekhyun e umuwi muna. Mula pag-gising niya, ganito na siya. She’s not the same Xyla anymore. Nanlambot siya bigla kaya naman mabilis ko siyang sinalo.
