Chapter 70

3rd Person POV:

As the years went on, the jedi temple got busier and stronger. Y/N and Luke had their child. A baby girl who they named Padme. Han and Leia also had a child. A boy which they named Ben.

The younglings got older and more powerful due to the teaching brought to them by Y/N, Luke, Cere and Cal.

Everyone was happy and the galactic empire was wiped out for good. Or so they thought.

As years went on, Padme grew older and older. So did Ben. They always hung out together in the temple, acting like the best of friends. But as time moved on, Ben started to become  distant. He had many taumenting dreams of joining the dark side.

Your POV:

After a long day of training, I started to put away all the training gear ready for tomorrow.

"Mummy mummy! Look what I found!" Padme comes running in, holding up a beautiful glowing blue flower. She reaches out to me and I pick her up.

"That's amazing sweetie. Why don't we go show daddy what you found?" I say to her, placing the flower in her hair beside her ear.

We walks through the temple but i suddenly stop. A looming fear taking over me. Something's coming. Something dark.

"Mummy are you okay?" Padme asks and I nod my head as we continue to find Luke.

Suddenly, a blaster shot flies past my face and Luke steps out of the room next to me. I take out my duel lightsabers and block the attacks. However, there was no sign of where the shot even came from.

"Are you alright? Where did you learn to fight like that?! I didn't know you had duel lightsabers!" Luke exclaims and I shake my head, picking up Padme who looks shocked.

"Cal taught me. But there's no time for that now! We have to go!"

I start walking with Padme in my arms but stop once Luke isn't following. "I can't. I need to go find Ben. I need to talk to him first." Luke says which confuses me.

"What do you-"

"It doesn't matter now. Meet me outside by your ship. If I'm not back in half an hour, leave without me, okay?" Luke orders, kissing me on the forehead as well as our daughter.

"I love you!"

"I love you more!"

I run with Padme in my arms and enter my ship. I place her in the co-pilot seat and tell her to wait there.

I pace back and forth inside my ship for what feels like forever but I'm alerted to the sound of screaming coming from outside.

As I exit my ship, I see the blazing flames of the fires which dance chronically around the temple. My eyes widen as I hear the cries and screams of younglings, padawans, jedi knights and masters.

Not long after, I see two people rushing towards me. When the emerge out of the smoke, I see a distraught Luke and a severely injured Cal.

I gasp, running over to them.

"We need to go!" I shout but Cal shakes his head. He sits down on a log next to my ship, taking his duel lightsaber from his belt.

"Take it."

He holds it out to me and I shake my head.

"No, you're coming with us!" I shout over all the noise. Cal practically forces the saber into my hands and sighs out in pain.

"It's yours now..."

He takes his last breath as his body falls to the floor. I let out an ear splitting scream but Luke pulls me onto the ship.

This day will forever haunt me in my dreams.

3rd Person POV:

That was the day the new jedi temple fell into ash and ruins. Luke told Y/N that Ben tried to attack him after being turned to the dark side. Y/N never saw the younglings again, or Cere or Cal. All she saw was ruins.

Not long after placing past of a map into R2D2's memory bank, Y/N was taken into hiding along with Luke. Their daughter was sent to the remote planet of Jakku in Hope's to keep her safe.

It hurt the two jedi to send their daughter away but as years went by, they knew what was going to happen.

Their daughter, Padme, joined the residence along with Rey, the scavenger girl. Now the two set out on a quest to find Y/N and Luke in Hope's to complete their training.
