Moonstone Pack
The moment Greyson and Jake returned to the pack using Greyson's teleportation spell, an unusual commotion immediately greeted them.

The entire courtyard was unusually crowded. Masyadong maaga para sa anumang official gathering.

Familiar figures stepped out one after another.
"Isn't that Alpha Douglas?" nagtatakang tanong ni Beta Jake.

Sunod na bumaba sina Alpha Gerald at Alpha Edmond mula sa iba pang karwahe.
"What the heck..." bulong ni Jake. "Even Alpha Gerald and Alpha Edmond? Bakit bigla silang nandito? At bakit walang anumang paanyaya?"
Pareho silang naguguluhan. Those three Alphas had never hidden their disapproval of Greyson becoming Moonstone's next Alpha.
At wala rin namang nakatakdang council meeting ngayong gabi.
So why were they here?

Chief Commander Gideon of the Institute of Protection. Chief Doctor Fergus together with his assistants. Even the chief market representatives from both the Flinstone and Crescent Moon Packs had arrived.

The heavier the atmosphere became. Greyson and Jake exchanged worried glances. Something had definitely happened. Before either of them could speak, the office door suddenly opened.
"Greyson, ijo." Lumabas si Luna Katherine habang nakangiti.
The woman who had loved Greyson as if he were her own son. The gentlest Luna anyone had ever known.
Ngunit ang malaking ngiti sa kanyang labi ang lalong nagbigay ng kaba kay Greyson.
"You have visitors to entertain," she cheerfully said before turning to Jake. "Hello, Beta Jake." Napakamot na lamang si Jake sa batok.
For some reason... He suddenly felt like they were both in serious trouble.
"Care to enlighten me, Mother?" seryosong tanong ni Greyson. Instead of answering immediately, Luna Katherine simply smiled.
"The news spread faster than any of us expected." Bahagya siyang huminga bago ipinagpatuloy ang sasabihin.
"The entire pack already knows you've found your mate." Saglit siyang tumigil.
"Even our allied packs heard the news before I did." Her smile remained graceful. Pero halata ang tampo sa kanyang mga mata.
She was the last person to learn that her own son had finally found his mate.
