CrescentMoon's Pack

"Is everything set?" tanong ni Alpha Tobias nang makarating siya sa lawa.

Nandoon sina Beta Jeremy, Everly, Miciera, at ang mga natitirang elders ng tribo. The entire group had spent the past few days preparing supplies and securing the pack.

Ngayon naman ay isinasagawa nila ang pinakamahalagang hakbang—ang pagsasara sa buong teritoryo ng Crescentmoon gamit ang isang napakalakas na barrier.

No one would be allowed to enter or leave until the war was over.

Ito ang paraan nila upang mapigilan ang mga espiya, traydor, at posibleng mga kaaway na makapasok sa kanilang teritoryo.

"Yes, my lord," sagot ni Jeremy. "Everything is ready."

Ilang metro ang layo sa lawa ay abala sina Everly at ang mga elders sa ritwal. Their combined power slowly spread through the land, forming a luminous barrier that began covering the entire territory.

"Do you think this will truly keep our plans safe?" mahinang tanong ni Jeremy.

Diretsong nakatingin si Alpha Tobias kay Everly bago tuluyang sumagot. "I don't know. But I trust her."

Napakunot ang noo ni Jeremy. "You know what my mother always told me about women?"

"What?"

"A woman driven solely by rage and revenge is the most loyal creature in the world." Tinapik niya ang balikat ng sariling Beta. "And do you know what else she told me?"

"What?"

Alpha Tobias looked toward Everly. Coldness and emptiness filled her eyes as she continued the ritual.

"If you want to see how evil a woman can become, look at her when she has lost her sense of love."

Wala na siyang ibang sinabi. He turned around and left to handle the military preparations Everly had assigned him.

Halos tapos na ang barrier nang tuluyang makarating si Ganesha sa Crescentmoon territory. She immediately noticed the strange glow covering the sky.

"Interesting," bulong niya. Then she realized the truth.

The entire pack was already sealed inside a barrier so powerful that even she could not break through it. Ibig sabihin, trapped ang lahat ng nasa loob hanggang sa sila mismo ang magdesisyong alisin iyon.

Hindi na siya nag-aksaya ng oras at kaagad na nagtungo sa lawa.

Nang makarating siya roon, nakita niyang katatapos lamang ng grupo sa kanilang ritwal.

But before Ganesha could even take another step, a powerful attack came rushing toward her.

Everly.

She was the first to notice the intruder and immediately unleashed her attack.

"Wait! I know her!" sigaw ni Miciera.

Ngunit hindi agad tumigil si Everly. Instead, she doubled the force of her attack, sending Ganesha violently into the woods. Trees shattered as her body crashed through them, leaving a trail of destruction behind.
