A week passed. They complied with what they discussed. They did not meet, but Emilia was right they did not have time to miss each other too much. Only at late nights. They talked on the phone, they exchanged messages, they made video calls. They were tired and worked all day long all week long. That was good. For both of them. Even if they couldn't meet, at least they did something else that they loved to do. Acting. That was their second love, and they were grateful that they can spend their time filming and in the theater.

Emilia was at home on that Monday. She did not have any rehearsals that day, so she could spend the day with rest, taking care of her home, arranging her books, clean up a bit. She planned her whole day in her mind when she opened her eyes. She grabbed her phone and there was already a message on it, from Kitten. She smiled. She would have lied if she said that she doesn't miss him. She did. She misses him so much especially during those hours when she was at home. Alone. She missed having some company. She sat up on the bed and started to write an answer for him. While she was entering the text to her phone, the doorbell started to ring. She did not wait for anyone that day. She planned to spend that day alone, deal with herself. Maybe do a beauty day. Maybe that is just the postman. She put a robe over her pajamas and ran down on the stairs. She opened the door and her mouth fall open.

"Surprise" Kit greeted her with a huge smile on his face. He was holding a giant box in his arms. Emilia frowned, and she did not understand.
"What... " Emilia opened her mouth.
"Can I come in?" Kit asked her with a smile.
"I don't think..." Emilia looked around in the streets.
"I just brought back the stuff that you left at my place. That is allowed isn't it?" he asked her with a smirk on his face. Em couldn't object, it was true. She stepped aside to let him inside, and deep in her heart she was happy that he is that creative. He brought a huge box just to see her. She smiled and closed the door.
"I thought we agreed..." she stepped closer to him, while he placed the box on the floor cautiously. "What is in it?" she raised a brow. It was clear the box is not empty. Kit treated it too carefully.
"Open it." He stretched himself. Emilia smiled at him and she stepped closer to him to kiss him, but he grabbed her shoulders and turned her to the box. "Open it."
"So you did not even want to kiss me? Well, you forget me quite quickly." she teased him, and knelt down. She opened the box, and for her biggest surprise there was a tiny little puppy in it, he was in the middle of the box, sitting on a pillow. He had big deep brown eyes, and he was staring at her innocently.
"Oh my God!" Emilia put her hands to her mouth in her surprise, and she was giggling. Not a minute later she stretched her hands towards the tiny puppy and raised him up. Kit was just looking at them. It was a good decision. He planned it at least for a month now, but it was not easy. At least he could exchange some words with Emilia's mother and Ben ... what kind of puppy he should choose for her. "Oh my God." Emilia leaned closer to the tiny creature, and he licked her face. "Oh my God" she just repeated the same sentence again and again and she was shining.
"It is a ... late Christmas present." Kit smiled and stepped next to her. Caressed the face of the tiny puppy. "The sausage dog fits you. Tiny and cute. Just like you." he kissed her cheek and Emilia squeezed the puppy closer to her chest and kissed Kit. The puppy whimpered a bit.
"So our childless period is over I think." Kit laughed.

"I ... still don't understand. And... Kit I don't have anything for him." she glanced at the puppy again. "I ... have to buy a lot of things, raising a puppy is..." she started to worry as usual.
"There are several other boxes in my car. Everything that you need for him." he smiled at her. "I even brought some dog food. I was not sure when you'll have time to shop. I only knew that you are home today." he sighed.
"I have no idea how... I don't even have enough time for him." she continued.
"Jamie doesn't mind if you take him to the theater. I've asked him." Kit shrugged his shoulder. "Just as I asked Lola, David, and even Goomie ... and they gladly help with him anytime if you have some other task. And of course, you can count on me, but... probably that is not a good idea." he sighed.
"So our little baby has to spend his first few months without his daddy. Shame." Emilia pulled a cute face and she put down the tiny dog to the floor. Raised his pillow from the box, and placed it next to him. He immediately started to gnaw it.
"He feels himself home." Kit laughed at the dog.
"So you've just made me a single mother, you know that right?" Emilia frowned.
"I think you can handle this" Kit placed his arms around her waist, and pulled her closer. "And I want one thing in return," he whispered to her mouth.
"What?" Em bit her lower lip.
"A kiss." he kissed her lower lip at first, then he dug his tongue into her mouth and their lips became one in a passionate kiss. He did not want to stop. He starved for that kiss. He missed her. That week seemed like an eternity for him, and it is just started. Only a week passed, and there are many weeks in front of them.
