I Can't Let You Go

"Sorry guys, but I have to go." Emilia stood up. They had a long talk with John. They explained everything to him, and they just hoped he'll keep his mouth. 
"Where?" Kit grabbed her hand. He did not want her to let go. They did not finish ... the things they have started in the bathroom. He was starving for her... he thought after Jon leaves they'll continue. 
"You are not the only man in my life Kit." Em smiled at him. "I have a manager too. And he doesn't let me just relax here in New York." 
"I hope I did not totally screw up your morning," John stated.
"No." Em turned to him, with her usual shining smile. "Maybe a little." she glanced at Kit "But I am glad you came and warn us. It is important. We... have to be a step ahead of her."
She walked to the bedroom to pack her stuff, then just a minute passed. She came out gave a small kiss to Kit's face, then left them there.
"And what is your plan for today?" John looked to Kit. He rolled his eyes and laughed a bit. Now... after his morning... did not go the way he wanted... he had much free time.
"I thought I was going to the gym." He answered and laid back on the couch.

Emilia put herself together, and then went down to the hotel hall. She still needed a coffee before she leaves. When she entered into the hotel bar, she immediately spotted Rose, and she wanted to turn back and leave but she ran into David.
"I did not know you are back." He smiled at her and hugged her. Gave two kisses to her cheek.
"Yeah. The premier is coming," she answered.
"Are you okay? Everything is fine?"
"Sure. Everything is cool." she tried to smile.
"You're still pissed," David stated.
"I am not pissed, I just... you know I don't like the ending, and I hate when everyone asks what I think about this season. I don't want to hurt you and I understand, but still... I hate it." she lowered her head.
"You were great in it. You could show some other side of you and your talent, and that matters. Believe me." David placed his hand to her arm. It was hard for her to smile. She never thought once she will wait for this to end. The show... she just wanted to get over it. Lena and Peter were right... they avoided being involved in any PR or promotion. She should have done the same, and decline the premier. Kit was the one reason why she is there. Nothing more. 
"David!" his wife appeared on the corridor and she spotted Emilia and David together. With his hand on her arm. It was clear, she doesn't like the situation. 
"Amanda, you are looking amazing." Emilia tried to relieve the tension. 
"I thought you left," she answered. She couldn't hide her jealousy towards her. She always was... she always hated that she had that good relationship with David. They were friends, but... Amanda always thought there is something between them. 
"I am back." she forced a smile "But I have to go. I have a meeting. About a new movie." Emilia sighed.
"Already? Wow. I thought you want some break after the show is over."
"Showbiz never sleeps. It was good to see you. I ... really have to go now."

"Good Morning." The voice came from behind her. It was Rose. She rolled her eyes. She was not in the mood to have a nice and friendly chat with her. Amanda and Rose hugged each other, as good friends usually do. 
"Emilia, I've been looking for you." Rose turned to her.
"Well. It is not the right time, I really have to... go." She tried to escape.
"Where?" Rose asked.
"It doesn't belong to you. If you forgive me." Em made a face and took a step away. 
"I forgot to congratulate," Rose added. "How you changed the schedule of the SNL. You committed to being a part of it. For Free. Wow." she was sarcastic. Em took a deep breath.
"It is not my fault that they considered this version better." Em glanced at her above her shoulder, then walked away.
"Bitch." Rose murmured under her nose. David and Amanda were just standing there and feel embarrassed.
"Everything is fine between you two?" Amanda asked her. 

Em tried to get out of this meeting with Rose and David from her head as soon as possible. Her meeting went quite well, and she decided to take a walk in New York. Maybe shopping helps. It always put a girl in a better mood. She stopped in front of a lingerie shop and a small smile appeared on her face. She bit her lower lip and entered.
