"No." Emilia wanted to go after Kit, but her mother held her back. "Too striking."
"But..." Em frowned. She worried about him. She saw how his forehead was sweating, and he was so pale. He literally ran out of the restaurant. "I have to check him."
"Darling, don't. Too many people around."
"I go." Bennett stood up. "I check him." he caressed his sister's shoulder, then went after Kit.
"She will totally freak him out," Em told her mother nervously.
"But you cannot lose your mind. It won't help." Jenny grabbed her hand. "He is a grown-up man, he has to solve this alone or he will pull you into that mess."
"I..." Em rolled her eyes and raised her voice but her mother stopped her.
"Yes, you care. Maybe not now, but you care. A scandal will destroy you. Both of you. I know you love him, but do not let your heart guide you." Jenny tried to make her understand. Emilia knew she is right, but it was hard. She wanted to slap Rose, send her to hell. She wanted to save Kit before it is too late.

"Kit?" Bennett entered into the men lavatory and looked around. There was no answer, and he checked the booths too, but Kit was not there. When he wanted to go out, he ran into Rose's brother, but they did not know each other. They walked passed by each other, and Bennett turned to the direction of the bar. He hesitated, then went there, and not a minute later, he spotted Kit. At the bar counter. There were two empty glasses in front of him, and he leaned to the counter.
"Kit." he walked closer. He took a deep breath but did not turn to him. "Are you alright?" Bennett tried again. A silence followed his question. "I thought you... are done with drinking."
"Try it in my place." He answered a bit phlegmatic.
"I am sure it is not easy, but do not forget about my sister, who cares about you," he answered calmly.
"I need to get out of here." Kit stood up "Do not... " he wanted to ask him to keep it in a secret. Those drinks. "Do what you want. I had enough. I have to go to the studio." he spread his arms, then walked out of the hotel bar. Bennett's eyes stopped on the glasses.
"Do you want some?" the girl at the bar asked him with a kind smile.
"What?"
"Double Jack? He has a taste." she removed the glasses from the counter. "so?"
"No." Bennett shook his head "No, thanks." he took a deep breath and he had no idea what to do. Kit was clearly a mess, and he knew how Emilia hates when he is drinking. He saw it many times meanwhile they were shooting Game Of Thrones. They had many quarrels about it, and his sister always keeps him in line. When she was there. Other situation... when she was not there. He was the biggest party face on Belfast.
"Bennett Clarke?" Rose arrived there.
"Hi." he tried to smile, and they greet each other. There were times when Rose and Emilia were friends and he knew her from the shootings too. "How are you?"
"Fine. Fine." Rose answered, then looked around. "Have you seen my fiancé?"
"Kit?"
"Sure. Who else?" Rose shook her head.
"No. I just... wanted a drink without the watching eyes of my family." He answered with a fake smile.
"I can understand. Your sister takes this alcohol thing too serious." she rolled her eyes. "Everyone deserves some drink."
"Yeah." Bennett nodded "But I have to go back. Have... have a nice afternoon."

Kit caught a cab, and get into it. He has one more hour until the rehearsals, but he couldn't stay in the hotel any longer. He wanted to escape. From Rose and her family. The word "wedding" freaked him out. He couldn't stay there and fake a smile. Not anymore. He had no idea, how to survive the premier the next day. And he was too weak. He did not want to look into Emilia's eyes. He just wanted to skip the next few days and leave the spotlight behind for some time. He knew she'll be mad. And he understands, but he was ... too weak. Alone he was too weak.

"Did you find him?" Em immediately asked Bennett when he returned to the table.
"Yes." he nodded "He had to leave, to the studio."
"Bennett?" Em raised her eyes at him, and she knew he is trying to hide something from her.
"He is fine," he answered. "It was the best choice. To leave. He'll call you when he is done with the rehearsals." he grabbed the glass of water from the table and drank it. Em still has doubts, about her brother telling her the truth or not, but she couldn't do anything else, just wait and believe him. The late lunch passed very slowly. Em was not there in mind. She couldn't stop thinking about Kit.
- I am sorry. -  she saw that message on her phone screen. From him. She did not understand.
"What is it honey?" her mother saw in her face, there is something wrong.
"Nothing." she shook her head. "So what did you say about the charity plans?" she tried to change the topic, and distract her attention from Kit.
