I Can't Let You Go

Em checked her phone before entered to the building. Kit called her twice. It must be something really important, if he is that impatient. She almost run up in the stairs.
"Where is he?" Em asked David, when he let her in.
"Good morning to you too Milly." David rolled her eyes.
"Sorry" she hugged her friend. "I am just... worries."
"He doesn't look good. That is true. Inside." he nodded towards to the office with his head. 
"Thanks David" Em gave a kiss to his face and went towards to the office.

"Emilia!" Kit jumped up from the chair, and hugged her. "I thought something happened."
"I am here, sorry. I just... held up. But don't worry." she squeezed him to herself too. 
"Em I missed you so much." he was looking into her eyes. "you look tired baby."
"I am. I was filming all night long, but your message scared me." she looked worried. 
Kit did not answer, he just caressing her cheek and staring her. Staring those beautiful eyes, that perfect face, those full lips. He was calm in that minute. In her arms. 
"What happened?" Emilia asked him.
He still remained in silence, and leaned closer to her. Their lips barely touched and then Kit finally kissed her. She couldn't resist. She wanted that kiss as much as Kit. Their lips pressed, and their tongues were so synchronous, as always. Kit lift her up a bit and he did not want to stop with that kiss. 
"I am sorry." he whispered after he released her lips, then placed his forehead to hers. "I ... needed this. I needed to feel you." 
"What happened Kit?" she asked again quietly while she was still hugging him close to her. 

A DAY EARLIER

"Mariana what are you doing here?" Kit opened his flats door, and he was surprised.
"Rose called me. I thought she is here."
"She is. But..." Kit frowned his eyebrows. "I still don't understand."
"She told me you have some good news, and wants to talk with me. Would you please let me in?" Mariana tried to smile at him. They did not talk with each other, after Kits overturning a few days earlier. 
"Sure." he stepped out from the door. "But I don't know why she ordered you here."
"She just asked me to come, not ordered." Mariana corrected him and walked inside. "Rose sweetheart!"
They hugged each other, and welcomed the other with a kiss. They were started to chatting and laughing while Kit stood behind them in silence. Those two women are playing with him, he was more and more sure. They want the fucking wedding, and they want to publish the wedding details. He was not in the mood, and tried to prepare himself for the next argument.
"You look amazing!" Mariana told her. "I can say you are shining." 
"Pregnancy is good for me" Rose laughed.
"No way. Are you?" her eyes widen and she looked at Kit, then Rose again "Why you did not tell me? These are great news!"
Kit felt how his chest makes heavier, and he tried to breath. He thought it is all about the wedding, he couldn't think in his worst nightmares Rose wants to publish her pregnancy. 
"We have to be on the front pages in every magazine! Game of Babies. Jon Snow becomes a father. I have many many ideas!" Mariana was so happy.
"Okay. Stop now!" Kit stepped closer.
"What is your problem Kit? It is good for you. Good for the show. Good for everyone. You'll be in the headlines, with great and good news." Rose was smiling. 
"I thought you wants to keep this in secret, until ... your doctor says everything is fine."
"Everything is fine Kit. I wanna share my happiness with the world." Rose answered.
"NO." Kit was definite. "Not now."
"Kit, I have to agree with Rose. It is good for your reputation" Mariana told him.
"Of course you agree with her. You always agree with her." Kit raised his voice. 

The air was frozen between them. Kit could kill with his eyes. He wanted to kill both of them. He told Mariana he wants to break up with Rose. Nonetheless she acts like everything is fine. 
"What the hell is your problem Kit? You better get used to it, you'll be a father." Rose's voice was a bit sarcastic. 
"Okay, as I see you have to ... talk about this. And..."
"And you cannot release anything like this before HBO and our producers says amen to it." Kit warned them. "And they won't. Not yet. It is not the promotional period yet. I am sure, they don't want to spoil things like "Jon Snow is going to be a father in a not important time" that idea maybe good enough to stop them. 
"Yeah Kit, you may right." Mariana answered. "Anyway, think through this, and tomorrow call me if you decide you wanna release it or not. Okay? We can wait for a couple more days." Mariana tried to calm them down.
"I don't know why it hurts anyone. These are great news." Rose sat down, and she was clearly nervous and mad to them. 
"Rose. If we publish it doesn't change anything. And it is ... our private life. Why you wanna... shout-out it to the world? I don't understand." Kit took a deep breath and tried to talk in a normal way.
"I want people to know, how happy we are. I have enough of the gossips and lies." she answered with tears.
Kit looked to Mariana, and she shook her head. No, they are not happy. Kit knows it, Kit wants to end it, but Rose was a good player. He never knows when she plays or when she thinks things in a serious way... when she lies, or when she is not. He was confused, but one thing he knows for sure, they can't release the pregnancy news.
