The sun was shining so warmly. The weather was warmer than usual. England was not famous for its hot summers, but that was different. There were many people around in the garden. Everyone was so elegant and celebrated. They were waiting for them to arrive. Kit was standing in front of a gate in a suit. The gate was huge, curved and ornated, decorated with lilies. White, wonderful lilies. He was nervous and curled his fingers continuously. Jack placed his hand to his shoulder to reassure him.
"Everything is alright," he told him with a smile on his face.
"I know." Kit nodded and took a deep breath. He looked around, and the weather, the place... everything was perfect. His mother was sitting in the front row and she was smiling at him. Once, the music started to play.

"She may be the face I can't forget,
The trace of pleasure or regret.
May be my treasure or the price I have to pay,
She may be the song that summer sings,
Maybe the chill that autumn brings,
Maybe a hundred different things
Within the measure of a day..."

Kit raised his head, and he spotted her. With her most beautiful smile. Her hair was unfolded, and she looked like a princess. She wore a snow-white dress, which had no strap. Her back was free, only the veil covered it. Her eyes were shining, more than ever. Those emerald eyes. They couldn't take their eyes off of each other.

"She maybe the reason I survive
The why and wherefore I'm alive
The one I'll care for through the rough in many years

Me, I'll take her laughter her tears
And make them all my souvenirs
And where she goes I've got to be
The meaning of my life is... She"

e saw how Kits' lips sang the lyrics. She laughed meanwhile there were tears in her eyes, but those were not sad tears. Her dream just came true. She looked to the side and her brother stood beside her, with all smiles.
"Can we..." he asked her.
"Yes." she nodded and looked to Kit again. "Yes."

"Honey? Emilia? Honey?" her mother's voice brought her back to reality from her dream. They were on a plane, and she falls asleep. "Honey, we're almost there." her mother caressed her shoulder.
"Ahm... did I sleep the whole flight?" Em frowned.
"It doesn't matter." Jenny smiled and she turned back to her book, while the flashlight turned on, to fasten their belts. Em did it, then turned to the window. It was LA below them. She loved that city. It was beautiful, and right now it was closer to Kit than London. Finally, she did not leave the same day as Kit. He left on Monday, and she had no idea what is going on with him, and she hated it. They talked when he arrived in Connecticut, but not since then. He prepared her, he won't be able to call her for a while, and it was okay. She would have agreed to anything, to ... make him feel better. She thought back to her dream, and she started to smile. It seems she finally could get that Rose and Kit wedding out of her head. She was kinda mad at her mother because she woke her up. At the best moment. It was her best dream for a long time. Some minutes later Jenny closed her book.
"So, you'll come with me to Venice, right?" Emilia turned to her.
"Yes, but I leave for San Francisco on Sunday."
"What? You did not tell me that." Em surprised.
"I did honey. Last week." Jenny smiled. "You are a little scattered lately, should I have to worry?" she frowned.
"No. No everything is fine." Emilia tried to put her best smile on her face.
"Did he call?" Jenny knew her, she was her mother. She easily could read in her face.
"Not since he checked in. I hope he is... okay." Em took a deep breath.
"We all know he needs this."
"Yeah sure. I know. And I was the one who wanted him to go, and I don't mind it, I just... I miss him." Em smiled at her mom.
"Already? He left three days ago, what will you do in the following weeks? "Jenny laughed a bit of her.
"Four days." Em corrected her with a cute smile. "And I'll get used to it, it is just weird now. That is all."
"In your thirty-two years, now is the first time when you really are in love, you know that right?" Jenny raised her eyebrow.
"I know." Em leaned back on the seat and sighed. She was in love with him. That was sure. Hopelessly in love. She was never that type, but it seems Kit brought out the best from her heart, or the worst. She couldn't decide it yet. Maybe he'll be her greatest weakness at the end.
