"A picnic?" You asked. "Yep, you have the day off, right y/n-chan?" "I do." You replied. "Will you come?" Natsuki asked.

That was a few days ago. Of course, you said yes. It was Natsuki after all. You tried to remember that last time you had a picnic as you looked in the mirror. "It's been so long." You said to yourself. You were so excited. The picnic itself wasn't what made you eager. It was spending time with Natsuki that made it exhilarating. You were embarrassed to admit it, but you had a crush on Natsuki. Something about his happy and childish nature had made you fall for him. You took a deep breath, looked away from the mirror, grabbed your bag, and headed out the door towards the park.

The park was but a few blocks from your house, so you made it there quickly. Once you were there, you began searching for Natsuki. You soon spotted him on top of a large hill. "This is a nice spot." You said to Natsuki once you made it up the hill. "I'm glad you like it y/n-chan." Natsuki replied with a smile. "I used to go on fairy hunts all the time with Elizabeth on picnics just like these." Natsuki said. "Did you ever find any?" You asked. "The only fairy I've ever found was you." You felt your face heat up. "A-anyway, what did you bring?" You began conversing with Natsuki about the food to change the subject.

After eating, Natsuki suggested that you two go on a fairy hunt. "A fairy hunt? Do you think we'll find any?" You asked. "We won't know until we look." Natsuki replied. And so you two started into a small patch of trees nearby.

All of a sudden, Natsuki stopped. You, not paying attention, ran into him. "What's up?" You asked. "Look at those flowers." Natsuki said. You moved to the side to see the flowers he was talking about. They were absolutely beautiful. It was only a small Bush, but it had colors from the brightest red to the darkest blue. "Let's make flower crowns!" Natsuki said with a smile. He walked over to the Bush and began gently picking some. You walked over to stand beside him. "I've never made flower crowns before." You said. "Then I can teach you." He handed you a couple flowers and began teaching you.

"Like this?" You asked after connecting two flowers. "Yep!" He replied happily. You two continued to work on your flower crowns until they were completed. "Your's looks so good." You said as you looked at Natsuki's. "Your's looks good too. Here, this is for you." He gently sat the flower crown on top of your head. You felt your face heat up again once more. "T-thanks. Here, you can have mine." You reached up to put it on his head. "Could you?" You asked with embarrassment. He understood what you meant and bent over slightly. You, now being able to reach, gently set it on his head. "Now we match!" Natsuki said happily. Natsuki's gaze drifted to behind you. "It's a fairy!" Before you could even respond, Natsuki ran towards said fairy.

"Natsuki!" He didn't stop. You started running after him. You felt the branches snag your hair and clothes as you run. You stopped to untangle your clothes from a particularly stubborn branch. But when you looked up, Natsuki was gone. You started to panic. What if something happened to him? What if he got lost? What if you wouldn't be able to find him? You quickly shook off these thoughts and bolted in the direction you last saw him. You had to find him. You didn't know what you'd do without him. Suddenly you felt the ground disappear from beneath your feet. And then you fell.

You heard a small splash as you fell into a shallow pond. "Natsuki!" You called out. You looked up. There he was. Underneath you. His face right in front of yours. "I couldn't catch the fairy." Natsuki said sadly. Your brain tried to piece together what had happened. Natsuki must have fallen into the pond when he was running. And when you ran after him, you fell in too. That's how you ended up on top of him with his face right in front of yours. You sighed with relief. "You scared me." You said. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you y/n-chan." Natsuki said. "It's alright. As long as your safe." The reality of the position you two were in finally hit you. You felt your face heat up. "I think I was chasing the wrong fairy. The only one I need is right in front of me." He said with a smile. "Natsuki, I-I've fallen in love with you." You said. "I love you too Y/N." He leaned down and kissed you. It was short and sweet. Your face was probably as red as a tomato by now. But you couldn't be happier. "Now, let's get out of the water before you catch a cold. Fairy chaser."

Sorry if Natsuki's a bit out of character in this one. I meant for the stuff he said to be cute, but some of it seemed a bit flirty. (Oh yeah, when you're on top of Natsuki you two aren't laying on the ground. It's more like he's sitting up and you're on top of him. If that even makes any sense.) I hope you liked this Aphmauloversloveein! Thank you for the request! Thank you for reading! I hope you all enjoyed it! The next part that comes out should be the second part to the Hayato x Reader. Thank you all for being patient and sticking with this book despite my slow updates. Sadly, I don't think they will get any faster though. I hope you all have a wonderful day/night. Bye-bye
