Tokiya Birthday Oneshot

Happy late Birthday Tokiya! And Happy late One Year Anniversary to this book! (BTW this isn't sad that's just the picture I had. Picture not mine.)

You hadn't planned to spend Tokiya's birthday with just you and him. But the other guys randomly all had 'other plans', which was obviously a ploy to get you and Tokiya alone. You had no idea why though since you and Tokiya were already dating. "Are you ready to go?" Tokiya asked. He had came early so he had been waiting on you. "Yeah, just one sec." You looked in the mirror and adjusted your clothes a bit. You smiled and turned to Tokiya. "There, all done. What do you think?" You asked. "You look beautiful, as always." He replied, returning your smile. 

After grabbing your things you and Tokiya left your apartment. "So, what do you want to do first?" You asked. "What would you like to do?" You sighed. "It's your birthday. But if you insist, let's go get some lunch." "Where?" He asked. You just stared at him. "Alright, here then." You two went to a small restaurant. In the restaurant, Tokiya orders a salad. Like always. "Hey, it's your birthday. You should let loose a little." He opened his mouth to reply but you could already tell what he was going to say so you cut him off. "Let's eat." 

"You could've at least let me split the bill." You said, pouting. "It wasn't that much. It would've just caused trouble to split the bill." "Then you should've let me pay for it." "I can't do that." He replied. You pouted at him. He grabbed your hand. "I wanted to. And besides, just spending today with you is the best birthday gift." You smiled. "Alright, let's go. There's somewhere I want to go."  

"Can I open my eyes yet?" Tokiya asked. "No, not yet. Just a little bit longer." You received a text. "Yes, it is still alright. I'm sure they will be delighted." "Alright, now." You watched as Tokiya opened his eyes. You saw his eyes widen in surprise. "But this is-" "Come on, they're waiting." 

You pulled Tokiya along to the front desk. The lady guided you to the courtyard where a group of children was playing. One of them looked up and recognized Tokiya and smiled. "He's back!" All of the children looked up from their playing almost in unison. And one by one they began to smile and cheer. "Y/N how-" "That isn't important right now. They've missed you." You replied to Tokiya with a smile.

Where were you? It was the hospital where Tokiya had stayed when he was injured. The one where he bonded with the children. You smiled as you watch Tokiya talk to the children. All of a sudden you felt a tugging on your clothes. You looked down to see a small girl. "Excuse me, are you Mr. Tokiya's wife?" She asked. You bent down to her level and smiled. "Not yet, for now, I'm just his girlfriend." Apparently, you were louder than you thought you were and the kids began to flock to you. "Mr. Tokiya's girlfriend?" "Mhm, that's me. I'm Y/N." "You're pretty." A young girl said with an excited smile. "Thank you, so are you." "How did you meet Tokiya?" "Do you sing too?" "Are you...Did you...How" You were bombarded with questions from the excited children. "Now, now, one at a time." Tokiya cut in with a smile. 

You and Tokiya played, sang, and talked with the children for a long time. But all good things have to end so eventually the nurses called the children back inside. They all sadly moved back inside. "Mrs. Y/N?" The same little girl from the beginning tugged on your clothes again. "Yes?" She looked near the verge of tears. "Will you come back?" She asked. You put a hand on her head. "Of course! I look forward to it. But for now, it's time to go." The little girl's frown turned into a smile. "Bye-bye Mrs. Y/N and Mr. Tokiya." And then she happily ran off. 

~Time skip~

You and Tokiya had just arrived at the parking lot of your apartment building. "Tokiya, I had fun today. Sorry if it didn't feel like much of a birthday though." You said. "It was the most amazing birthday I've ever had. Thank you Y/N." "You seem to be good with kids." "You too." You smirked. "Maybe Mrs. Ichinose will keep that in mind for the future." Tokiya looked into your eyes with a serious expression. "Huh? What's wrong?" You asked. "I can't imagine anyone else but you. I never want it to be anyone else but you." He said. "What do you mean?" You asked. Your heartbeat quickened and you felt your face redden. "Will you be my Mrs. Ichinose?" He knelt down and held out a small black box. He opened it to reveal a beautiful ring with a purple gem in the center. You felt your face explode in red. "I-I-I T-Tokiya." Your heart was beating so fast you could barely think. This was the kind of thing you could only dream of. "Is that a no?" He asked with a smile. "No! I mean yes!" You looked down in a red mess. "I'd love to marry you Tokiya." He smiled and spilled the ring on your finger. "I was worried there for a second." "Like I would turn you down." You both laughed lightly. "I love you Tokiya. Happy birthday." "I love you too." 

Sorry I've been late a lot recently. My school has already started back and the workload hasn't been very kind. I think it'll only get worse from here so I wouldn't expect super regular updates.
