So listen, this was a far more fairytale-like idea in my head. Now I realize that I didn't really change that much. Hope you enjoy anyway!

You were a servant in the house of Permafrost. Just as your mother was, and her mother was, and so on. Your family had been serving the house of Permafrost ever since it was created. Everyone in the house of Permafrost was nice. The lady of the house had a smile that made even cold Permafrost feel warm. While the head of the house was a bit colder, he was still very kind to you. The same can not be said about the only child in the house of Permafrost. His name was Camus, and since your mother worked here, you grew up with him. He was cold and callous. Whenever you made the slightest mistake he always yelled at you. Despite his coldness, you loved to be around him. There was something about him that drew you to him. Now you didn't like his constant scolding, but it was something about being beside him. You felt your face hit something as you were lost in thought while walking. "Watch where you are going." You didn't even have to look up to know who you had run into. "I apologize." You said. "I'm going to read in the study. Prepare some tea and bring it there." "Yes, Camus." And he walked off.

You made your way to the kitchen and started boiling some water. He didn't tell you what type of tea he wanted but you figured the normal black tea would work. After the tea was finished you started walking towards the study.

You knocked on the study door. "Come in." You heard Camus say. You sat the tea tray on the table and began to leave. "Sit." He said. You looked at him in shock. He normally favored being alone, did you do something wrong? You sat as he had told you. "Is there something wrong?" You asked him nervously. He didn't say anything as he prepared himself a cup of tea. You two sat in silence as he drank his cup of tea.

When his cup was empty, he stared at you. It wasn't an 'I'm going to sit here until you figure out what you did wrong' stare. It was more like a 'I want to tell you something but I'm not sure if I should' stare. "Is there something you would like to tell me?" You asked him cautiously. "Have you been engaged yet?" He asked. It was normal for girls your age to be engaged or married by now. "Not yet I'm afraid." You replied. "Do you have someone you would like to be engaged to?" He asked. "You are asking some awfully strange questions. Is it because you have fallen in love with someone?" You asked. That was the only conclusion you could come to. That he wanted advice or something like that. "I have." He looked away from you with a sad look on his face, as if he himself didn't like the words falling from his lips. "She is dull and brainless. It is almost like the feelings aren't my own. I find it strange that I seem to love this girl." He said looking confused and sort of angry. There is definitely something wrong with him. He barely speaks of his feelings, unless it's displeasure for your actions. Why would he be telling you such things? "Who is she?" You asked. "What a blatant question. Why would I tell a lowly servant this information?" He said. You looked him straight in the eyes. "Why tell me all about your feeling then not tell me who it is? Maybe she's made up and you are trying to trick me." You said. He stood and moved over to you, he put a hand on your cheek. "No, I think she is very much real." He said. You felt your face heat up. "Who is she?" You asked quietly. "I believe you already know." He said. "I'm just a lowly servant who always makes mistakes." You said even quieter. "Yes, yes you are." Then he kissed you.

Camus is a bit out of character towards the end, sorry about that. I hope you enjoyed! Thank you so much for reading! I will continue to write the sad series, but I thought a fairytale series would be nice to write as well. I normally don't see pictures in my head while I'm writing, but I did while writing this one. I'm actually super proud of this one, I hope you loved it as much as I did! That's all for now. (Picture not mine) Bye-bye!
