So this is a very stupid idea I got on a latish night when I was tired. You have been warned. Kinda, okay, super based on Alice in Wonderland.
You laid in your bed, drifting off to a night of deep sleep. In a few moments, the pull of sleep is able to take you.
You wake up in a world unlike your own. The flowers were very peculiar colors. Some had spiral patterns with colors that didn't even look good together. Others have all sorts of shape patterns. The mushrooms had similar patterns to the flowers. Practically everything was color it shouldn't be. The sky itself was a weird sort of bright green. Something out of place caught your eye. It was a normal wooden sign with brown writing and an arrow. The sign read: "Turkey town this way." The arrow pointed to the right. Since it was the only sign you saw, you decided to follow it.
You began your walk when a tree moved in your way. "Trees can't move." You said out loud. "What, just because I'm a tree I can't move or talk. Were not all the same you know. Like the Dogwoods, those annoying things just bark non-stop. Anyway, let's get to the point. I don't recognize you and I know all the creatures of these woods. State your name and business." The trees said pointing at you with one of its branches. "My name is Y/N. I'm just looking for a way home." Normally you would be excited about this new place. But it's so peculiar it makes your head hurt. "Home? Now, where might that be." The tree said. "Why I can't remember." You searched your head but you could not remember. "What do you mean you can't remember! Listen kid, all I know is that your home ain't in these woods. So I'm going to be nice and let you go. Scram!" The tree shouted at you. You thought it better to listen so you walked past the tree. Maybe the people in Turkey town were nicer.
You continued on, everything looked the same. You walked for what felt like forever when you came to a conclusion. You were walking in circles. "I don't think it wise to go off the path. But how am I supposed to get anywhere when this path is just one big circle!" "Look at her that idiot." You heard a laugh. "I can't believe she just keeps going in circles." You looked for the source of the sound when you spotted two doves. "What are doves doing here?" You asked out loud. "This isn't your woods. We can go wherever we want." One bird said. "Yep." The other bird said in agreement. "If you can go wherever, might you take me to my home?" You asked. "Your home." "Your home." The bird said, repeating the other. "Yes my home, I wish to go there but can't quite remember where it is." You said. "You must be joking!" One bird said with a squawk like laugh. "You are far too large to be carried by two tiny birds." The other bird said. "While I understand, that was awfully rude." You said. "If you don't know where home is then where were you going?" The bird who had just gotten over his laughter said. "I was off to Turkey town." You answered. Both birds broke out into squawk like laughter this time. It was a long while before one calmed down to speak. "Yeah, Turkey town. That's a weird bunch down there." "Here" the birds said flying up. They moved the branches to reveal another path. "Take this path all the way and it'll take you straight to Turkey town." They both began laughing once more as they flew off.
You continued the path until you met a gate. There was a large muscular bunny on two feet guarding the entrance. "Excuse me, may I pass?" You asked. "What's your business in Peacock castle?" The guard asked. Peacock castle? The birds said it would take you to Turkey town. Maybe you just had to go through Peacock castle. "I'm just passing through." You said. The bunny looked at you for the first time. He got a crazed look in his eye. "Yes, yes, the Peacocks would love to see you." The bunny opened the gate. You had a bad feeling. "Just continue on till you see a flower garden. That's the Peacocks favorite place." You walked through the gate cautiously. You heard the loud clank as the gate was shut quickly. There was no going back. So you continued on.
You walked until you saw a flower garden. Garden was an understatement. Flowers were blocking the arch entrance they were so high. Some flowers wrapped around the arch itself. Something began slipping through the flowers. This was it. What could be on the other side? A woman popped out. Wait no, it had the shape of a woman but it wasn't. It had green skin, midnight blue hair, and Peacock feathers as clothes. Despite the human-like appearance, it was the most horrifying thing you've seen so far. Maybe not seen, but the feeling around her wasn't pleasant. Like she took all your childhood fears and ate them. She then spotted you. "Oh how nice. You poor poor girl. I heard you were looking for your home." She said. Her voice was painfully sweet and icy. Like if you were to be stabbed by a candy cane in the snow. Or I guess ice cream would be a kinder description. You feel the latter was too welcoming. Wait a second, you never told her of the bunny guard about looking for your home. "How do you know I'm looking for my home?" You asked. Her smile faltered for a second, but it was quickly back. "I heard from a little birdie. They're my good friends. Come dear, how about you come sit down." She said. "I am in quite a hurry." You said, trying to politely decline. "Please I insist." She said. You figured she wasn't going to let you just run on through. "Alright then." And you followed her in.
Despite the thorns on some of the flowers, you didn't get hurt. When you finally made it through all the plants, you saw something you were not expecting. There were a lot more of those Peacock people. This area looked to be an actual garden. The area was surrounded by flowers and there was a fountain with a statue of the peacock lady in the middle. Then the lady grabbed your hand. "Let's have you go over and meet my friends." Something definitely did not seem right. But you followed her anyway. With a few steps, you had come close enough for the others to notice you. You saw as their eyes grew a crazed look. They all began to smile, revealing razor-sharp teeth. "I-I must be going." You said nervously. "Oh please stay for dinner." The Peacock lady said. "No I-I can't." You said trying to pull your hand from hers. Then she looked at you with a look far more deranged than the others. "You must stay for dinner. You are the main course." You finally managed to tear your hand from hers, and you started running faster than you ever had. "Get her!" You heard the Peacock lady yell. You quickly made it to the arch entrance. But this time while pushing through the flowers, you got cut by the thorns. It was so painful that tears rolled down your face. You finally pushed out of the flowers, bleeding and crying.
You almost started running again when you heard something. "Over here!" Something yelled from the sky. You looked up. If not for what you have already seen here, you'd think it terrifying. It was a line of seven turkeys with human heads flying in the sky, all holding on to each other so they looked like a turkey ladder. "Grab on!" The one closest to the ground yelled. He had red hair and red eyes to match. You didn't think twice as you grabbed onto his hands, well talons. Surprisingly, they lifted you into the air. "HOW DID YOU LET HER GET AWAY!" You heard the Peacock lady yell from the ground. The world then went black.
"Is she awake yet?" You sat up as soon as you woke up. You looked around to see seven startled turkeys with the same human head you saw before you passed out. "Thank you for saving me." You said. "You're welcome! That Peacock lady is so mean." The turkey with red hair said, he was the one you had held onto. "How did I make it if I passed out?" You asked. "It was quite annoying when that happened. We all had to rush downwards to catch you." This one had blue hair and a mole under his left eye. "I'm sorry, but thank you again." You said. "Maybe we should introduce ourselves. I'm Otoya-turkey!" The one with red hair said. "This is Masa-turkey." He said pointing to the blue-haired turkey that had spoken earlier. "This is Toki-turkey." He said pointing to another turkey with darker blue hair. "This is Natsuki-turkey." He said pointing to a blond turkey with glasses and green eyes. "This is Syo-turkey." He said pointing to another blond turkey, but this one had blue eyes and a hat. "This is Ren-turkey." He said pointing to another blond turkey with blue eyes, but his hair was longer than Syo-turkey's. "Last but not least, this is Cecil-turkey." This one had tanner skin and brown hair with green eyes. "There sure are a lot of you." You said. "That's not all, come with me and I'll show you the rest!" Otoya-turkey said excitedly. There's more.
You followed Otoya-turkey to a sort of sitting area. 13 more turkeys were sitting there. "Before I introduce you, what are you doing here to begin with?" Otoya-turkey asked. "I'm looking for my home, but I can't remember where it is." You said sadly. "Then you can stay here!" Otoya-turkey said happily. "Really? I can stay?" You asked. "Yeah! Forever and ever and ever and ever..."
You woke up in your bed. "She's awake!" You heard Otoya say. "She was in an awfully deep sleep." Said Masato. "Are you okay?" Otoya asked. "I'm fine Otoya-turkey." You said. "Turkey?" He said looking confused. "It's a long story."
I hope you enjoyed this! Sorry, this was a day later than promised, I underestimated the amount of time it would take. Thank you so much for reading anyway! This was a very weird idea, but I enjoyed writing it! I have so much planned for December that you can look forward to! I'll see you in the next part. (I only drew STARISH in the picture because I didn't want you to have to wait any longer for this part. Perhaps I will keep working and put the finished result in another part.) Bye-bye!
