Syo & Natsuki Birthday Oneshot

(I decided to write one with both of them instead of making individual ones. I hope you all still enjoy it! Sorry this was so late!)(Picture not mine.)

You still remember your first day on the job. The day you accidentally stepped on a sleeping Natsuki and ran into Syo. You laughed as you remembered those first few awkward days. You had a simple job of keeping the place clean. At first, the only reason you got the job was to make some summer money before you tried to get a better job. And now, you couldn't imagine life without it. Hopefully, you'd never have to experience that fate. At least not anytime soon.

But today wasn't the time to be thinking of such things. Today you were planning what to do on Natsuki & Syo's birthday. Hmm, you checked your phone for events happening nearby on June 9th. Wine tasting festival, yeah no. Cheese-making class, probably best to avoid cooking. Piyo-chan themed store opening, prince of fighting special edition showing... Hmm if only there was something. Wait! Piyo-chan and prince of fighting! This is perfect. Your heart dropped as you read the time and places. The Piyo-chan even was at 12 pm and Prince of fighting showing was at 12 20 pm. They were on opposite sides of town. And because of that even if you took a car it would take 10 minutes. It wouldn't be fair to go to the opening for 10 minutes and then watch the whole movie. Maybe, just maybe it would work out. With that hope in your heart, you planned the rest of the day.

~Time skip to the day of~

"I'm so excited!" Natsuki said with a smile. "Thank you for planning this day Y/N," Syo said. "No problem! I'm just happy to spend time with you two." "So, what's first?" Natsuki asked. You checked your watch, 11 45 am. "We need to catch a taxi." You said to yourself. "There's one over there, let's go get it," Syo said. When inside the taxi you whispered the location to the driver. And then, all three of you set off for the first event of the day. 

"We're here!" You said with a smile. The shop was right in front of you two. There was a bunch of little kids and their parents crowded to see the opening. "I've heard about this store! I'm so excited we get to see the opening!" Natsuki said with his usual big smile. While waiting for it to start you get a notification on your phone. 'Prince of Fighting showing moved to 12 pm' You felt your mouth drop open. "What is it?" Syo asked. "N-Nothing." You racked your brain. If you were too late to the movie they wouldn't let you in. But you couldn't just skip the opening entirely.

While stuck in your thoughts you heard the opening music play. The time, 11 55 am.  There would probably be some time between 12 and the start of the movie. It'll be fine. 10 minutes passed and the opening was still in full swing. "Hey, Natsuki!" You said with a smile. But he didn't hear you, he was immersed in the opening. "Natsuki." He finally heard you and turned to you. "This is amazing! Isn't it Y/N-chan?" He said with a big smile. "I-It is. B-But we have some other plans around this time. You think we could go and come back later?" You asked. You could feel the disappointment. "Sure!" Natsuki said. And so you three got back in the taxi and headed to the theater.  

You all quickly arrived at the theater. "Excuse me, has the prince of fighting showing started?" You asked the person at the desk quietly. "Oh, I guess you didn't hear. That showing was delayed 30 minutes. So it starts in about 15 minutes." "Oh, thank you." You turned back to Natsuki and Syo. "Is this the theater that's showing the Prince of fighting special?" Syo asked excitedly. "Yeah, but it has been delayed. How about we go back to the Piyo-chan store a bit?" You asked. 

You all quickly arrived at the store. All the people were gone. You walked up and read the sign at the door. 'Thank you for an amazing opening! We're all sold out. See you next time!' Already?! You sighed. You turned back to them. "Sorry, I guess we should go back to the theater." "It's okay! I'm sure the store will restock soon." Natsuki said with a smile. 

You three arrived at the theater. But there was a big traffic delay so 20 minutes had already passed. You quickly rushed over to the desk. "Has the prince of fighting showing started?" "Oh, I'm sorry. That was a short so It's already over." A short. Of course, it was. You sadly turned back to the two. "It's over." You said. "That's fine. I'm sure it'll come out on video soon." Syo said. You tried to think up something on the spot. "How about we go to the top of the really tall store? I'm sure it's a beautiful view." 

You stepped outside the door to the roof. "See, isn't it beautiful?" You asked with a smile. Then, all of a sudden it started to rain heavily. You leaned onto the railing in defeat. "Hey, there's no reason to be so sad. None of this was your fault." Syo said. You didn't turn to them as you spoke. "But it is. I was so excited to do this that I didn't plan enough. I knew they were around the same time and far away but I hoped it would work out anyway." You covered your face with your hands. "You two have always been so kind to me. If it weren't for you two I would have never found a life this happy. And I just ruined you two's birthday." 

"Ruined? I got to see Piyo-chan! I was so happy. Thank you for taking us!" Natsuki said. "And I got to buy one of those Prince of Fighting posters while you were at the desk. It's so awesome!" Syo said. "There must just be a bad fairy lurking around," Natsuki said. "Thank you for planning this day for us," Syo said. You felt tears rapidly come out. 

"And plus, the day's not over yet!" Natsuki said. "B-But I don't have anything else planned." You said sadly, turning towards them. "The town's pretty crazy today." They both held out a hand to you. "Come on, let's go home." You grabbed their hands. "Thank you." You whispered.

Their POV

I knew that Natsuki That Syo Was in love with her too. But now Isn't time for that. Not today.

And so you, Natsuki, and Syo spent the rest of the day happily back at the Shining dorms. 

Wow, uh I'm sorry. This feels kinda rushed and vague but I hope you still liked it, even a bit. I'm sorry for the extreme lateness. The next birthday isn't until next month so feel free to request as much as you like! I know I say it a lot, but thank you for your patience. I know I'm not the best writer and that the more I'm late the worse I get. I want to keep improving my writing. And I hope you'll stay with me as I do that.
