Camus x Reader

You recently have found out that there is a puppy cafe nearby. You really wanted to go with Camus, but you knew it would take some convincing. "Please." You said. "I have already said no." You've been asking him for a month and that's the answer you always got. You were losing all hope and preparing to go alone when you found a light of hope. The cafe was having a sweets eating competition, Camus likes dogs and sweets, it was perfect! 

"Hey Camus, you know that puppy cafe I've been mentioning." You said. "Have you come to ask me to go again?" He said, annoyed. "This times different." You held your phone in front of his face. "They're having a sweets eating competition. Wouldn't you love to eat all those sweets while being surrounded by puppies?" You were trying to make it sound as attractive as possible. "I know you're just going to keep asking me until I say yes." He sighed. "Fine, I'll go." "Yay! Thank you so much, Camus." You said excitedly.   

~Time skip to the day of~

You and Camus arrived at the cafe. "If you want to join the sweets eating competition, please sign your name on the form at the front." Said the person who you supposed organized the event. "Let's go sign our names." You said to Camus. "You're planning on competing against me?" Asked Camus. "I don't have much confidence in winning, but I'm going to try." You replied. You both walked over to the sheet and wrote your names in.

As you two were waiting for the event to start, a small puppy pushed up against your leg. It was small and fluffy with white fur and blue eyes. You reached down to pet it. It at first shied away from your touch but then it rubs itself against your hand. You continued to pet it. "You sure like that puppy don't you?" Camus asked. He seemed a bit annoyed. You were about to ask about when the organizer spoke again. 

"The sweets eating competition is starting! When I call your name, please come and have a seat. ....Camus....Y/N... You have to eat as many sweets as you can in 1 hour. The person who eats the most sweets wins!" You and Camus were sitting at the table, you were happy that you two were beside each other. A cafe worker was placed in front of each contestant. "Ready. Set. Go!" The first sweet was a simple cake. You were amazed that Camus could eat something so quick and yet still look like a gentleman. 

Five sweets later, your stomach began to feel full. Camus seemed to be going on without any problem. Finally, the hour was up. You ate 12 sweets. But Camus.....He ate 32. "And the winner is.....Camus!" The organizer announced. The people in the building clapped. "Your prize is you get to adopt a dog for free!" The organizer said. "What?" You and Camus said in unison. Camus turned to you. "Did you know about this?" He asked. "No." The dog that you petted earlier ran over to you. "Oh are you two a couple? If you are, that dog seems to like your girlfriend." The organizer said, not waiting for an answer. You petted the dog, the thought of leaving it here didn't sit right. "Can I have him?" You asked. "I don't need another dog, adopt him if you want." You took this as his way of saying yes. "May I adopt him?" You asked the organizer. "Of course, you just have to fill out some paperwork. It also will take a few days for the adoption process." You went over to grab the paperwork. "What should I name you?" You asked the dog. You said the first thing that came to mind. "Snowflake." The dog spun around and barked happily. You leaned over to pet the dog. "You like that don't you? Snowflake it is." Snowflake sat in your lap the whole time you filled out the paperwork. 

After you filled out the paperwork you and Camus began to walk home. "Thank you Camus." You said. "I didn't do anything." He said. You put a hand on his shoulder. He turned around to look at you. You wrapped your arms around him. "I love you Camus, you made me very happy today." He returned your embrace, which is something he doesn't normally do. "You foolish women."
